Which is why there isn't a chance in hell of IBM getting more involved in SL until and unless the "adult" (however you want to define it) elements of SL are removed to a separate place . . .

Pep ( . . . and are nuked out of existence)
You percieve the root problem of the matter. The resolution of the problem is what's at stake. There are always options. Movement may not be the only option, just the one that requires the least thought on the part of the implementers. Only been here a couple of weeks in 2 identities and I _really_ am becoming fond of it here. I would hate to lose the eclectic culture and see all my new friends disappear. That sounds silly, doesn't it?

OOPS - here we are, still flogging this pony carcass. I'm so sorry...

What is on alt? And wouldn't they mind being hopped on? I mean- that sounds like it could damage it...

Yay for Mari's Weekend Update! Mari - wonderful, wonderful pics this week. :)

I think Max and Trout both have biplanes...not sure which ones, though... :)

Thankoo. :-)

I was tinking of Trout too, cuz i know he loves his biplane. :-)

From: Jerboa Haystack
@Mari - wow! Avaria is gorgeous thanks for pointing it out...it's now on my to-do list. Looks like a good place for a horse ride too! And (drool) biplanes....I've been looking too. All I seem to run into are WWII warplanes *sigh*

I know there's a couple really nice ones at Abbotts, made by Cubey Terra. They're right now the top of my list. Still, I tend to use the freebie Cubey Terra dogfighters more than anyting.

Avaria is great for a horse ride, an I've ridden there many times. I suggest going soon, before they remodel, so as to not miss what it is now. The piccie I sent is in Avaria Sav, at ground level (their store is in the sky). Here's a shot showing all four sims of Avaria:

And a couple more shots just from around the sims:

Um...at least as long as I have? Release notes say it was new in the 1.20 viewer. Which is what was around when I got here in September.

This is my alt. At least . . . well, made to be new start. New main. My old main didn't leave. Does not log in as a seperate identity. Remains as a place keep backup of art (as art galleries started with old main name on there). And log in to give me their money.

I shall storm the beaches, be shot, fall into the surf, bleed, and look up as the small animal with the big ears runs past. And I will glare at you and bite your ankle.

Slip into the mist.

Wake up and see huge beefy man leaning over me. Instinctively punch him in the chest. He fall on me winded. Crushes me. Recall it is not good to punch someone leaning over you, try to draw breath. I fail. I am not good at drawing a picture of breath. Show it being very cold and a cloud formed in front of mouth? Why would it be very cold?

Learn later am in hospital. And now have metal breasts.

All because of big eared animal.

Thanks (re pics, not build, me no build, heh)

And if you wish to visit, look for Black Taj (in map or places, do not recall which I used, I think map). The pictures are from the two sims, Black Taj, and White Taj.

I didn't realize until I looked up the thread, again, that the place mentioned to visit was Taj Mahal Black/White (I have no idea why, but it did set my teeth on edge while I was at Black Taj and White Taj, that it didn't include Mahal. And that is without knowing what those words mean, Taj Mahal).

Nothing too romantic - just Crown Palace.

Pep (a mahal is a palace, so it should really be Black Mahal and White Mahal, but . . . meh)

Gorgeous pics, Lexxi!

Nothing new to report here. Weather is icky, windy and gray, which is par for the course.

I guess that's why we have a rain forest here.

I'd settle for some sun and a warm dry day!

Thank you, pussy, for the information.

(hehe, sorry, I had to say that after my last post responding to your last post . . um I responded to. See, I broke it. My post, I mean. I do not mean anything negative by it.)

I did. And I replied. Maybe I have it wrong. I thought it meant, over here, "wimp, push-over, etc." And there is the "pussy-whipped" connection also. Less than a man. Emascalated. Again, though, I did not mean that negative connotation when I used it earlier. I was pissing on you. That is the correct usage yes? Pissing on you? Taking a piss?

LOL - Lexxi. In the US, a man who is a "pussy" is exactly that - wimp, push-over. If he's "pussy-whipped" that means that he lets his woman boss him around because he is basically co-dependent.

A woman can be a "pussy-cat" if she's cuddly and cute but I'd never call a man a "pussy-cat." If I did, it would be pretty derogatory, as in "aww he's just an old pussy-cat." i.e. harmless. I don't think any man worth his salt wants to be thought of as "harmless."
