Happy St. Patrick's Day to all of you of Irish descent, or those who are just going to be drunk for a day :) I'm going to cook up Brenda's Pork Chops with Guiness Onion Gravy for Ghosty tonight, special treat for my (partially) Irish llama.

In the meantime, I just heard that there are HOUR delays on my train line. HOUR  If I even get a seat, I'll be lucky, and usually my stop is near empty. Not happy. Debating about even leaving for my regular train, or waiting another hour when the rush is over. Being it's a holiday, things could be even dicier than usual with everyone trying to get into the City for the parade too. If my boss hadn't dumped something on my desk as he was running out the door last night, which I *think* he wanted done today, I'd just blow today off completely and come in on Friday instead (a day off normally). Ugh.

@ Lexxi - Great photos, LOVE the red dress!

OK, off to finish getting dressed - maybe.

*waves to Elora*

Yikes...an HOUR delay...good luck! Yeah, with the parade, I guess trying to go in later wouldn't help, anyway...fingers crossed for you...

Bec and Xerxes have a Demolition Derby track. I'm not sure how I did it, but somehow, I managed to hop the high fences encircling the track...and plummet to the earth below (600 meters below)...

Ahem....I counted that as a win. :D

We celebrated the demolition with a little trip to some big band music at a place called the Ozland Over The Rainbow ballroom.

The Intan there was loaded with some of the best dances I've seen. 3fx animations. If you like swing style dancing, they're well worth checking out.

shhh, another lurker sneaking in and back out before the regulars catch me. I think they all went night-night.

@ Mo- Hey - is this fresh fodder for the Thread? Or did she 'Star' here already?

Either way 'Hello Tania!'
Morning Thread - and happy St. Paddy's I dressed in blue before I remembered and am too lazy to go change.

Yesterday was a grueling day of kid doc appt.s- nothing to it, just he needs to see his doc once a month for the ADHD meds- and it is such a damn chore. But dad was home too so we made it a family day and ate exotic thises and thatses from Whole Foods (if there is one near you- really a must go place, http://www.wholefoodsmarket.com/). I was sooo sick though- towards the end of the day i just crashed and though i made brief cameos in SL I was a zombie. Still feel like crap today want to go back t bed but boss darn him- won't pay me to stay home :(

and an Irish breakfast

You think *that's* an Irish breakfast . . .

. . . *this" is an Irish breakfast!

Pep (It's very nice, in a Shelbourne Hotel style, but no Irishman would be seen dead without potatoes of some sort on his plate - at the start of a meal - and the black and white puddings are kinda essential too)

PS I'm really hungry today so I'll order both

I did too -- When I invited you to come with us to listen to the Big Band DJ, I commented that you were already dressed for formal dancing.

Love the pics, Lexxi!! You shoulda come with us last night, dressed your finery as you were... :) But then, you wouldn't have been able to take the later pic, which I love. :)

Dead Man's Chest and Black spot were visited early Monday or on Sunday. I figured I'd be a fifth wheel so didn't go to the big band thing.

heh, yes, you said I was dressed for it. So yes, you did comment that I was wearing clothing appropriate for such an event. heh.

Again, though, I'd just have been an extra at the event.

(I'd use more words (instead of repeating them, like event), if I could wake up)

I'm wearing black and blue lol. It was too dark in the house to go rummaging through my drawers to find something green :p Oh well.

BTW, we have Whole Foods by us, a bit too far so I don't go too often but it is by far the BEST place to do grocery shopping. I always spend way too much money there, although never regret it.

Hope you feel better as the day goes by. Have a Guinness. I hear it fixes everything ;)

Seeing the picture again reminds me that I got a new ao. It has me stand like that. It actually has three settings, temptress, heroine, and maiden. Maiden stands demurely, one hand in front of her breasts; heroine stands like in the picture but the arm out more. Temptress is the one in the picture. I have no point. Just wanted to mention.
