OK, today's a *really* good day! It's Friday, it's my lovely daughter's 11th birthday and we already made a sale this morning at work that represents 60% of our monthly target sales. I am not going to allow *anyone* to annoy me, so if you are feeling bitchy feel free to give it your best shot while I am baring my throat. Or just join me in a once in a blue moon feeling of goodwill to fellow men.

Pep (and women, of course)

PS I reserve the right to point out the correct use of its and it's, but without being judgmental.

Good morning, Threadies!

TGIF..or TGITW.

And...it's snowing here in DC. At the beginning of the week - it was almost 80 F!

Whose turn is it to serve coffee and breakfast then?

Pep (How about an European tour of breakfasts? Educational as well as satisfying our appetites.)

PS That was a fast response, Mo! Can I borrow your time machine for the weekend?)

I have to learn how to do that. I would get so much more posting done.

Considering how abysmal my typing is generally, it can only be improved by keeping m eyes closed.

Hmm- all we need more brain dead people ....

Damn it, Bones, you're a doctor. You know that pain and guilt can't be taken away with a wave of a magic wand. They're the things we carry with us, the things that make us who we are. If we lose them, we lose ourselves. I don't want my pain taken away! I need my pain!

And the same might be said certain for fears -

So, did everybody wake up this morning and hope last nights drama was just a bad dream?

I knew this was coming in some form, LL wants SL to be sanitized for a marketing invasion or perhaps even a sell off, but I didn't think they would move quite so quickly.I think this will seriously impact the overall creativity inworld, as more and more ideas become "not suitable fo general access" and are sequestered off somewhere.

I'm very disappointed in this. I have been considering getting back into SL recently, going back to Premium, getting some land, and buying a new computer as a birthday present to fully enjoy it all. But last night's events have soured me on it, my low opinion of LL as a company and of SL being a place I want to invest anything substantial in has just been magnified. Reading all those threads has shown me that LL has once again made a plan and set it in motion, and are cynically and patronizingly engaging the community in dialogue when they have no intention of taking any of their suggestions.

I'm going to whip off my pants and wave them in salute, because I feel Godwin will be the order of the day, because first they came for the sex businesses.......
