Question- Do we really gossip in this thread? And if we do,can someone point out the posts so I can read it? ![]() /me misses all the good stuff Chat about people at times- maybe that is gossip- but I don't think I have noticed any "ooh did you hear what so and so did?" kind of posts- then again i wd proly ignore them so maybe but doubtful. I really am sorry people find it necessary to bug Rha about the Thread- first off because it's just so not true that this is causing any technical troubles and secondly because it is just so unfair to blame her - if blame is needed at all. Anywhoo.. let's just ignore the poor sad OP of that thread- read a couple more of his posts- lacking in a lot I wd bet- Me, I am going back to my "real dogs and cats and husbands and wives" to paraphrase... Enjoy the day peeps ![]() _____________________

Isn't the definition of gossip talking maliciously behind one's back though?
NM looked it up: Well,I guess we could be classified as number three at times: NOUN:

Isn't the definition of gossip talking maliciously behind one's back though? Trivial, chatty talk or writing. Pep (Gossip can also be people saying *nice* things about you behind your back as well!) _____________________

Oooh! I am getting pretty tired of having to get here in three tries.
It's a rainy day in Beantown, which is actually kind of nice... one - because it's warm-ish two - because my office window faces due south, so I can only open the blinds when it's not sunny. So... rainy days are good for something other than Jiffy Pop. Oh, and I started reading my daughter the book "The Princess Bride" -- (mistakenly) thinking that since it was in the Children's Room at the library that it actually WAS a children's book. Of course, it's quite funny, but she got immensely bored very quickly -- which is highly ironic, if you know the book. |

Jiffy Pop! I loved Jiffy Pop.
But rainy days are also good for "Club Bed." That's what my sister calls it when she gathers her stack of novels, DVDs, and snacks, and camps in her bed for the day. edited to add: Key, that IS ironic! ![]() |

Enjoy the day peeps ![]() /me is sad - no dog, no cat, no husband, no wife *sighs* What am I doing here? Apparently I have nothing to talk about ![]() Oh yes, I have a BF and a fish ![]() Anyhoo, I'm not going to respond to that other thread. We don't gossip in a negative way here, unless the person we talk about truly is someone who has started something which is negative to the community or hurtful personally to another. Even then, for the most part I've found most people tend to direct their comments to that person, not talk behind their back. We are a DIRECT bunch, if nothing else. Even when there is good news, we come right out and ask the question, not pussyfooting around it. If waking up, saying hello, talking about your day and asking how your friends are is wrong; then I don't want to be right. _____________________

I've never been able to stick with "Friends for more than 3 minutes - and that was forcing myself not to change the channel. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with it but somehow it's just never been able to hold my interest. i always enjoyed Friends, but couldn't stand - and still do not like - Ross or Phoebe (wutever their real names are escapes me, and i don't really care to learn them) _____________________

I think Taxi had some of the greatest ensemble writing of any TV show. Jim's driving test is probably one of the funniest scenes I've ever witnessed, it's cryingly funny. i fell in love with Danny Devito (the actor) from that show. he was so perfectly nasty! i never miss a movie he is in. i think he's hysterical. _____________________
