Thanks for all the posts... all of you are right. Except for that picture Pep posted. We aren't as ancient as all that.
One thing you don't know is that I'm a kind of extreme person. When I like something, I do it a lot, and then I do it too much.
I made five alts, which may not seem like many, but two of them got into their own social circles, has friends and activities and even responsibilities.
In fact, one of my SL friends was complaining that Key had disappeared.
So I've got to cut back those extra second lives, for starters. It will make things easier.

/me stands up, the name tag "Scott Savira" printed neatly on his chest, and looks around the circle nervously. In a monotone voice he mumbles, "Hi, I'm Scott and I have a Second Life problem." The cadre of addicts mumbles back in unison, their voices just as bored and detached. "Hi Scott..." "Now Scott, why don't you tell us when this all start," comes a musical voice. He turns to look at the councilor with wide eyes, his throat going dry. "Ummm..." -ooc- I have the same problem you have.

96, or so, of the 143 music acts that perform life in SL have been "filled" in (as in they have a page, not necessarily that they all have much in the way of information). I also have a breakdown by genre, though not all have been placed in a genre. http://exploringvirtualworlds.wikidot.com/music-acts

From: HoneyBear Lilliehook Um, Soji, where are you getting the 143 music acts statistic from? 96 of the 143 music acts that I have seen and noted their name. Though I've seen more than 143 music acts. I can't put someone in the wiki "Music Acts" page if I do not know of them.

From: 3Ring Binder The penis says "You think you have it bad, when I get big fat and juicy they put me in a bag, throw me in a cave, shut the door and make me do push ups till I throw up" You owe me a new screen, a new keyboard, something to stop the inside of my sinuses from burning... and another can of Diet Pepsi!

From: Kaimi Kyomoon Lol! When I first got to SL men were bothering me all the time. It was like real life was when I was younger. Now mercifully it never happens anymore. Which is kind of odd since my avi looks better now than it did then and I'm not really sure how to give off the "don't even bother" vibe in vr. But maybe I've subconsciously mastered it anyway. i'm not buying what you are peddling, sister. the only vibes you give off are related to words like 'class' and 'love'.
