I love Shrove/Pancake Tuesday! I managed to make pancakes on a gas camping stove lol :p quite proud of myself :D


I saved some for you guys too, I like mine with sugar and lemon juice.

A friend of mine (war buddy) is seriously worried about Obama. He's started buying more guns and tons of ammo because he's afraid that O. might make it illegal to buy more in the future. :rolleyes:

ooo that looks good. I just made dinner with this pasta side-Kraft Bistro or something. It was so good. I could have just ate the pasta for dinner. Saved myself some cooking...

Perhaps, perhaps not.

What IS very clear, though, is it's absolutely a great time to be a gun or ammo manufacturer or seller, or an owner who's interested in selling. For the past several months - at least ever since November, and possibly earlier than that - such people have been making money hand over fist by hyping up the "Obama will ban guns, so get 'em while you have the chance" threat. At least two gun shows in my area have used such a tagline to generate enormous traffic. Very clever, if you ask me.

So I get a call from my brother this morning. His current wife has kicked him out and wants a divorce.(shocker...) Anyway,he needs a place to stay. And me being the sucker I am,said yes. I hate living with people. Took me years to finally live alone and drink the milk out of the carton.:( I'm so depressed now. I can't say no though,he is my brother.


I may be perpetually cranky after Saturday.Sigh.

At first they'll ask nicely. probably offer some sort of taxpayer funded incentives, as well as making it harder for new people to get them. once that has run it's course, the door knocking will commence. but by then I'll have my secret compound in the mountains finished.

Yeah my brother is not a very good husband at all. Good father,brother,son,friend=yes. Husband=sucketh. Takes after my grandfather who is currently on his sixth wife. He won't tell me why she wants a divorce,so I don't know what he did this time...


A little TMI, but his first wife divorced him because he stole a necklace worth over $5,000 dollars from her mother.(He was on drugs at the time,he has been clean and sober for ten years now though. )That whole incident actually made him take a long look at himself and he checked into rehab. He is lucky he didn't go to jail. The parents agreed to not press charges as long as he gave her the divorce with no problems.

So um yeah,he makes me proud sometimes.:rolleyes:
