LOL...think "Jim Carrey" without the humor (yeah, an oxymoron, but you get the point).

Going along with the people with the same name theme (Lee Evans); the Washington Capitols had a goalie with the name Jim Carrey. I still have a poster of him near the net with the words "Smoking!" or something like that. Back when Carrey had that mask movie that used that phrase.

Anyone have any information about live music in SL? There was a forum for it, but it appears to have died. Or I can't remember where it is located. Or both.

I'm thinking of having a live music party. Lots of work before that though. Have to build the ground area. So I can then ignore it for a sky venue. Which will have transparent, phantom walls, ceiling, floor. A series of sky boxes to fall through, free falling while listening to a singer. My art up on the transparent walls. yee-haw.

Ok, not that, but still. Something in the sky, as the ground is not conducive to party.

The Langoliers did it for me. Flying was an issue for a while, lol.

But I haven't read any of his works in eons. I find him boring now, completely.

Thanks :)

Unfortunately my property is on the same sim as a new group that is filling it up with lag issues and etc. Ah well. That's what I get by "letting" someone else buy parcels near me. heh.

Oh those are nice. I bought the pair of snakeskin ones that Amar posted a few days ago. I'm not happy with the texture at all. I am afraid they ruined it for all boot purchases this week. I now have no desire to spend more money on boots. They kilt my spirit.:(

Hmmm. I wonder if those are using the same sculpties as have been used in a rash of recently released boots from different creators.

Two years ago a friend introduced me to the works of Enid Blyton, who (as far as I can tell) is virtually unknown in the US. Since then I've been reading her books to my daughter when she goes to bed at night.

Enid Blyton books were the ones that got me so in love with reading. I especially remember The Pig With Green Spots, and a story about a girl who used to rip books, but got turned into paper. I loved her stort stories.

Looks like one of the textures you can choose for your Mystitools platform.
