:( the people at college don't like mince pies....they ate all the flapjack and left the pies...

Of course, that means more for me :D

Kaimi - most of my baking is vegetarian anyway, my mum(part-time vegetarian, occasional vegan) gets fussy bout stuff like that when she's on one of her vegetarian kicks.

Pep - I hope your daughter's play goes well :)
Don't like mince pies!? Are they mad? Oh well you eat them all then. Good for your mum.

Pep I, also wish your daughter well.

I do not have that outfit. Lady Santa or whatever it is called.

Instead I have this one here, which I may or may not have already posted.

(I have some recollection of someone mentioning my pulling off the look, though I am not certain if that was here or on SLU.)
You certainly did pull it off!

The forums known as "SLU" (Second Life Universe). Here is an example here. http://www.sluniverse.com/php/vb/516790-post42.html
I miss him, but I don't think I should spend anymore time on forums than I already am.

Wow...

Too bad we all can't sit on ORYX's lap when we read off our Christmas lists.

Don't do the QRI hunt unless you enjoy needlessly complex and tedious activities.

1) Find scripted boxes with passwords and click.
2) Notice that notecards aren't numbered, so number them so you'll know which box they correspond to when you get where you're going.
3) Locate stall with teleport column.
4) Teleport to main store of vendor (ie, different sim/region).
5) Notice that roughly half the teleports don't take you to the right place.
6) Search vendor's main store and teleport again.
7) Find QRI box hidden somewhere in the store once you finally get there.
8) Tell box the number and password.
9) Get prize you probably won't keep.
10) Teleport back to QRI (hope you took a LM!).
11) Find another stall with a teleport column.
12) Rinse and repeat x30.

I found all but one or two of the scripted boxes, went to maybe half of the main stores then, with the exception of two prizes, deleted everything. It was just irritating.

It is a cute build if you just want to shop though.
Thanks for the heads up on this. I am almost being overwhelmed with hunts anyway and if I know that one will be frustrating and not really worth it, it will be easier to skip it.

Just my 2 cents worth but I would say that "pulling off the look" is quite an understatement. ;)

And I'm sure you'd be more than willing to pull the look right off her.

Let alone, the size of the snowflakes in NYC were like 1/2 dollars! Crazy.

Lovely. Since I live in the ubiquitous area the weatherdrones refer to as "North and West of the City" aka "The I-78 and 287 Snow Line" I'm sure I'll be waking up to a couple of inches.

Yeah, same here. Well, not snow; they say it's going to be sleet and the dreaded "wintry mix."

And just yesterday afternoon/evening, kids in the neighborhood were running around in their shirtsleeves.

Not bad here right now but Ghosty is at home and told me it was coming down hard there all morning/afternoon. I know you're further northwest than we are, so it sure can't be looking good for you :(
