Mornin' thread dwellers!

This morning we're piling in the truck and taking off to go eat breakfast at IHOP. Better pile in while there's room, I'm footin' the bill!

Feliz Cinco de Mayo mis amigos buenos! Donde esta la tequila?

Or, is it too early to asking for that?

This nurse does not look very happy. Look! She is sticking out her tongue. Perhaps she is ill. Does she need medicine? May I request a different care giver?

True, because in my experience, when drinking tequila, sometimes "early" is really only the current-tense of "late".

Much too early for me to drink any tequila, but I will clink shot glasses with you all. Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Sorry I missed Rioko's get-together, and CX's pool shing-ding. Kind of pooped this week-end.

As for breakfast, I'm slurping strong coffee now, (what a wonderful discovery that was).

Phew - thanks, CX! :) Boy, Garrett...when you said you were leaving right away, you weren't joking! And boy, can this truck move! The suspension system isn't bad, either...not too much bouncing around back here.

re: XPOD.

This statue of Miss Felicia Lector, founder of Our Lady of Perpetual Dementia Hospice, stands in a prominent location in the back alley. Felicia is holding her signature icon, a stuffed rabbit that she always called "Euthanasia".

Not shown in the photo is a sign bearing the hospice's cheerful motto, "Geezers Check In, And We Help Them Check Out."

Good morning, Thread! Good morning, Threadlets! Hi, Rio's boots...come to mama.

I bet people in their 90s dying slowly in abject poverty with not enough to eat wish they had.

I truly hope this is an act and you are not really this cynical. Smile Conan- life is good- yes there is bad, true..but how bad can it be for us here at least? We are here aren't we? I refuse to be brought down- I will smile twice- once for you.

Thanks, Amaranthim! Yes, apparently, most pareos are system skirts, and I cannot, for the life of me, get them to be visible (yes, I've tried everything), and, well, system skirts do not look great on me, anyway...(I refuse to change my AV's shape to fit into a skirt!!:))

I can work with that too. Do you need a shot glass, or shall we just slug it out of the bottle?
