Looks like a fun party! Sorry I missed it; happy house, Claire!

I went to the state fair today. Ate a corn dog, an ice cream cone, some french fries, a huge diet coke, and half a funnel cake... that Inverter ride nearly did me in. The poor people below us on the ride had no clue that they almost received my lunch on their heads... *groan*

My favorite parts were the sheep barn and the bluegrass band that played. Hooray for state fairs!

OpenLife is like SL way back in the dawn of time- Everyone looks like Ruth. You can create clothes and skins but no attachments yet so default hair and no shoes!!!!

It was a cool party! Good music, too.

You should've seen Litta's bikini. You had to be standing REALLY close to be able to see it, though.

And Soji dressed like an Oompa Loompa.

:D

The list of non-words that are used in my family is legion. However, I have learned I cannot use some of them outside the family unit, since, apparently, in other languages, they have very distinct meanings...

Boo hiss...Mac tried for over an hour to log in to SL so he could go to Claire's party...but he could not get in.

Mac is not a happy camper...and neither am I!

i was able to log in for 10 minutes, then relog for 5 then relog for 30 seconds then no relog at all.... i tried for over an hour before i finally gave up and rented a movie instead. SL was mean to me last night, and now today the forums are being mean, making me try 2-3 times before anything sticks. :(

He then decided to dress like Homer Simpson and stand in a barrel with me...Oh! and tap dance in chicken feet.

yes, very SL like...the layout of the client is pretty much identical. I am very noob-like, and there was no one around, other than Mac. Well there was someone who was "ghosted". We had fun walking through her, poor thing. But some interesting building is going on.

Good morning everyone (geez, almost noon here). I stayed up way way too late, but then slept late to make up for it. Of course that means I will be totally messed up for getting back on proper sleep schedule tonight.

@Claire - Fab party. Had fun seeing everyone and definitely glad you are back online. Nice fun place you have set up there.

@Amara - so glad Ike has so far turned out to be a minimal issue for you.

For the non-USA folks: If we do the Halloween party from noon-midnight, does that give you enough time to come party and have fun? I am pretty good at doing the time conversion for England, but start losing track for other areas, especially Australia.

Have a good day everyone. I'm going to be good and go take care of some RL chores (I really wish those darn RL chores would stop messing with my SL time).
