I have not been able to read back into all the posts. Thank you everyone for the best wishes and support.

My current status: I have power, no TV, no phone and no internet at home. The yard was cleaned up yesterday.

I am currently in Houston for a two week training class that was scheduled 6 months ago. It appears Hurricane Ike is headed this way and expected to arrive on Saturday. I do plan to return home on Thursday or Friday if the storm continues this way.

Kinda an experimental one, tinkering with windlight settings in Zilch. I recommend visiting the sim, which is one huge field of roses.

lol, I'm such a girl. Today is my usual shopping day, but I won't really need to go for another day or two, so I was thinking about putting it off. Then I opened my mascara this morning and discovered the inner seal/cleaner thingy had apparently detached, so the brush was just caked in mascara...I managed to scrape enough off to actually be able to use it, but guess where I'll be going after work? :D

in october we will have an easy jack o lantern hunt.
november - harder turkey hunt.
december - hard ornament hunt. :D
