I had rowing class tonight, so I was out on the Willamette trying to not capsize. And now I think I'll take my headache and sore back muscles to bed... g'night. y'all...
Rowing! How cool. How big a crew do you row with? I was just watching it at the Olympics last night. (And I used to like the rowing machine t the gym). Hope this morning ll aches and soreness are gone.

Yikes! Try going to see Mamma Mia or something. I saw it weeks ago, and have had every damn song stuck in my head since. Keeps switching between them all grrrr

It'll get Xanadu out of there any road :p
Lol. Around here conventional wisdom has it that the thing you want to avoid at all costs is the "It's a Small World" ride at Disneyland because of the insistent inane song that will stick with you seemingly forever.

It's really amazing what they can do with sand. They have big competitions here several times a year.

Was it locked and loaded?

Yes. But it's not what you're thinking, you Evil Person. I thought the same thing, when this lad sent me a pic. I thought, "Oh, no, I'm about to see some guy's prize Trout, Jr, what a thrill THAT will be." But when it rezzed, it was just a pic of the lad (and a lovely, hard-muscled, clean-cut fellow at that...mmmmmhmmm.) He had his pants on, and was holding a wicked looking rifle.

This is one thing I have no desire to see. I do admit to being a bit of a voyeur when it comes to these celebrity sex tapes but, Mini Me? He's no Colin Farrell

A place where nobody dared to go
The love that we came to know
They call it Xanadu

And now
Open your eyes and see
What we have made is real
We are in Xanadu

A million lights are dancing
And there you are
A shooting star
An everlasting world
And you're here with me
Eternally

Xanadu, Xanadu,
(now we are here)
In Xanadu
Xanadu, Xanadu,
(now we are here)
In Xanadu

Xanadu, your neon lights will shine
For you, Xanadu

The love
The echoes of long ago
You needed the world to know
They are in Xanadu

The dream
That came through a million years
That lived on through all the tears
It came to Xanadu

A million lights are dancing
And there you are
A shooting star
An everlasting world
And you're here with me
Eternally

Xanadu, Xanadu,
(now we are here)
In Xanadu
Xanadu, Xanadu,
(now we are here)
In Xanadu

Now that I'm here
Now that you're near in Xanadu
Now that I'm here
Now that you're near in Xanadu
Xanadu...

There's, uh, probably a lot of things you didn't know about lindens. Another, another interesting, uh, lindenism, uh, there are only three jobs available to a linden. The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

Hey Soji, that was odd running into you last night at REC and I didn't mean to ignore you. I was going to join you, follow you in, but was deep in an IM and then I was having issues with the server, crashed and couldn't get back in for several hours :(

Okay, how many peeps look at building in rl and think "nice build" :p /me raises hand.

I had thoughts like that long before I had heard of SL or computers or anything of that kind of thing. There really are some crappy builds out there and some nice ones. For a while there the leading style was "monstrously ugly post-modern."
