Lol no but we had snow at the weekend again, however I live in a milder part of NZ. Some parts are more like NS though atm, the nearer Antartica you get.

egads. brrrrrr Antartica? you are by the Ice-Road Truckers, or is that Alaska?

Actually I expect the early lambs in the south will be dying, they often do here when it gets harsh.

Don't know what Ice-Road Truckers are - but Antarctica is the southern hemisphere, Arctic is the north one. NZ's southern most tip is only a few thousand kms away from Antarctica (one with the penguins, not the bears :) ))

In fact all Antarctic expeditions fly out from Christchurch which is the major city of the South Island of NZ.

Interesting; our Autumnal Equinox and first day of Autumn is September 21 (21st in leap years).
Mmm well I think the 1st is like the government official day of spring and and the 21st is like the seasonal first day or something like that.

*knocks on the computer screen* Hello...wow, it takes me hours to catch up and then the thread runs dry...

Here is a picture of a time when I took a ride on Trout's biplane over the hangout, shortly before I was hurled off over a sim crossing:

I remember those days fondly (well, the days I flew around with Trout, even took the control and flew him once or twice).

Well here in NZ we get new shows like a few years after they are shown anywhere else and so it is likely it has not arrived, even then some shows don't make it.

Sort of like the queen's birthday.

I liked the first couple of seasons of 24 but then Jack(the protagonist) started relying more and more on torture and I lost my taste for it.

The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

lol, this is going around SLU: What was the #1 song on your birth date?

http://www.joshhosler.biz/NumberOneInHistory/SelectMonth.htm

Mine is "One Bad Apple" by The Osmonds. :D

"El Paso" by Marty Robbins

Yeah, I know I'm a bit late; I had rowing class tonight, so I was out on the Willamette trying to not capsize. And now I think I'll take my headache and sore back muscles to bed... g'night. y'all...

A place where nobody dared to go
The love that we came to know
They call it Xanadu

And now
Open your eyes and see
What we have made is real
We are in Xanadu

A million lights are dancing
And there you are
A shooting star
An everlasting world
And you're here with me
Eternally

Xanadu, Xanadu,
(now we are here)
In Xanadu
Xanadu, Xanadu,
(now we are here)
In Xanadu

Xanadu, your neon lights will shine
For you, Xanadu

The love
The echoes of long ago
You needed the world to know
They are in Xanadu

The dream
That came through a million years
That lived on through all the tears
It came to Xanadu

A million lights are dancing
And there you are
A shooting star
An everlasting world
And you're here with me
Eternally

Xanadu, Xanadu,
(now we are here)
In Xanadu
Xanadu, Xanadu,
(now we are here)
In Xanadu

Now that I'm here
Now that you're near in Xanadu
Now that I'm here
Now that you're near in Xanadu
Xanadu...

DEAR GOD!!! THIS SONG IS STUCK IN MY HEAD!!!!!!!
