I am an Aston Martin V8 Vantage. Coolest car in the UK (and therefore the world) and its engine makes the best noise evah, suficient to make the elastic in panties snap at 200 metres according to Top Gear guru Jeremy Clarkson. Low slung, heavy, with an immense capacity, with secret agent film star looks and appeal.

I just thought I would contribute the most popular phrase in or out of the car from my kids:

"It's not FAIR!"

Ok that's just uncanny.

I'm a Ferrari 360 Modena

You've got it all. Power, passion, precision, and style. You're sensuous, exotic, and temperamental. Sure, you're expensive and high-maintenance, but you're worth it.

yep yep, that's me :D

I am starting a Kaimi Fan Club I think-

Kaimi, you are wonderful! God how you handled what could easily have gotten ugly in the fashion thread. Lady, you are amazing- witty, charming and polite- you do not back down one bit, but defend your place so elegantly, no one could not accept your views as worthy - whether they agree or not. Kaimi, you are one classy Lady.

This is the nicest compliment I could ever want. Thank you Amara! I feel the same way about you so it's especially meaningful to me.

Hi baby :) Why didn't you sleep enough? Check in when you can :)

Woke up at 4am with allergy symptoms. Couldn't go back to sleep. :(

I came up as a Porche 911 but really I'm a Volkswagen.

I’m a powder blue 66 Olds 442 convertible. Bench seats, so my sweetie can curl up next to me as we glide down some lonely back road at dawn giggling and quietly recounting the wild steamy evening spent sprawled out in its wide back seat. The kind of car that ruled the hi-ways in the 60s. Powerful, big, beefy with enough oomph to make anything else quake in its presence. Even the Corvette and the Mustang bow as it passes, knowing that I could fit a f**king small army in the back or a few dead bodies in the trunk. :D

Hi, all :)

I'll ask here, because I don't feel like making a new post about it:

I'm pondering number of scripts vs lag in a sim. What kind of script numbers would you expect to see in a sim with 4 average-sized homes (complete with various attendant poseballs, sit scripts etc) and one very large store with a lot of rezzers?

I'm eyeing the stats bar for this sim (which is constantly laggy, and getting worse) and wondering if it's the 4554 active scripts (perf time of up to 24000, in case that's significant) that is contributing to it. The only avatars in the sim are me, and the nine traffic bots set up in boxes by the store owner. Sim time dilation is usually between 0.6 and 0.7, sometimes reaching into the heady heights of 0.8 and sim FPS averages at around 30 - 35, which is pretty good.

It's not just me that's noticing the increase in lag; my partner has been having hellish trouble lately while there. Sim restarts don't seem to have any lasting effect either. In fact, the only time I've noticed a decrease in lag is immediately after rolling restarts when the bots are kicked offline and I'm the first person back into the sim. It's heavenly then, for all of about an hour. Then the lag sets in again.

When I get a chance I am going to look at scripts and the sim where I am. But at this point I don't know Skell. Sorry.
Yes Maureen and the Le Creuset factory store I think I just may pull over for. I am a big fan of proper cooking items in my kitchen. Me loves to cook god I miss my kitchen :( . I think I will get a big stock pot and make a white bean ham bone soup with bacon some garlic. Yummy

When I was a kid, my dad had a 66 Pontiac, yellow with a black convertible top. god I miss those cars :(

um, really? A Corvette? Really? huh.

"You're a classic - powerful, athletic, and competitive. You're all about winning the race and getting the job done. While you have a practical everyday side, you get wild when anyone pushes your pedal. You hate to lose, but you hardly ever do."

And I specifically put down no to the powerful one, and there it is, powerful in the description.

Oh . . I get it. They call everyone they don't know how to rank as a Chevrolet Corvette: 2346751 (27%). Porsche has 19% of the results, and Ferrari and Ford are tied in third place with 9%.

Funny you should post this. I had just gone back and took the test again to make sure about my Corvette ranking. It is so NOT me. While I adore 'Vettes the description is not me at all. I'm a slug, could care less about winning. I hate playing games, therefore, competition in general has little meaning to me. Meh, call me a loser and stick two fingers over my head, I have a thick skin.

I think the Lamby suits me far better ;) I'm going over and standing around with Rioko.

I'm shy and quiet, but I tend to fight that and end up bouncing around like a bull in a china shop, or a cat high on catnip (or standing around not moving or talking, bah). Therefore I'll hover near Rioko also. I claim position near the left boot. I will also rez a bunch of sheep for no reason. And sit on the sheep.

:) This was a hot car the year I graduated from high school. The one I bought for $300 11 years later was so not in this condition.

Which reminds me; here's my bio:

I graduated from high school in 1965. I was divorced before I was out of my early 20's. Enjoyed partying a lot and had a long series of low paying jobs. The ones I was able to stand the longest were bar tending, beef packing, and driving a taxi. Jobs I wish I could have made into careers were as on camera talent on a cheesy local TV show and as an emergency medical technician with Emergency Medical Services ambulances.

When I was in my early thirties I finally started college and made it through two years before I dropped out.

For about 15 years I worked as an “Instructional Behavioral Technician” No kidding that was the job title they gave us to make up for the fact that we were never going to get a living wage. The school district benefits were first class though. I worked with emotionally disabled 7th through 12th graders as an assistant to special ed teachers. Every day was an adventure in helping these kids focus on making up the gaps in their education. I especially enjoyed teaching beginning algebra. Then they offered me a tiny financial incentive to take early retirement and, what the heck, I took it. Now I am an SL entrepreneur. (ha ha). My son got me into SL after first getting me into custom content creation for The Sims and Sims 2.

I live with my husband of 20 years and two Siamese cats in the same house in San Diego where I grew up. Between us we have four kids and 5 grandkids, with another on the way. My husband is the bass player in a band. He is also a director of a small non profit agency working to open a group home for foster youth and he has a small video production business. I met him at church. We don't eat meat and he is a gourmet vegetarian cook.

I was born and raised an agnostic but eventually became a Hindu/yogi.

I read a lot and I like bodyboarding.

I've lived in England, Kansas and other parts of California.
