My favourites at Ahern were: EmergencyRepair Kit TooHighA Price There was this big WWF wrestler type, with the name: TipToeThroughTheDaisies Harrison And the guy who had the dead pose, who would walk in, and immediately go through death throes and then fall to the ground dead. He would lie there for ages (guess he went off and did some gardening in RL), and other avis would have to walk around him, or step over him, his name was: TitsUp Maloney (the last two surnames changed as I can't remember what they were) There is the Private Investigator: Truth Tracer and many more, love em all  Rock |

Both of these made me laugh, and the second one really got me. I'm starting to hate my name. I like Trout, but I wish I could ditch Recreant. I don't want to make an alt, because my friends all know me as Trout Recreant. Oh well. Like a tattoo. Sometimes we make decisions when we are young that we regret later. Heck - Rock Ryder is a pretty good name as well. |

ahhh. Shit. I just looked it up. I didn't know what it meant either. Is there seriously no way I can change that? That's really upsetting. I'm a dirtbag, a total degenerate and absolutely without shame, but I'm no recreant. I picked it because it remined me of both recreation and re-create. Sort of like I was recreating myself in an alternate reality and SL is a recreational thing for me - not my sole purpose for being.
That pretty much ruined my day right there.

Don't. It's my fault. I can't believe they even put that in as a choice for last names. It's like a trap. I should have looked it up, though. If there's no way to change it, I think I have to make an alt, transfer my stuff to it, and call it a loss for the other stuff. I can't let that stand as is. If I put my no transfer stuff in a box, I can rez the box and use my alt to take a copy of it, right? That's how I can transfer the biplane, so it should work with other no transfer stuff. I need to have two accounts running at the same time and essentially meet myself in-world to do that. Can I do that? My computer would be screaming in agony, but I could probably get it to work. I don't have much no transfer, no copy stuff that I'm really attached to, so I could just abandon that stuff. Is getting an alt going to cost me anything? I think I saw where I could have up to five on basic accounts without paying extra. It's worth the payment to get rid of this name if that's what I have to do. |

Trout, to transfer stuff from one person to another (or to your alt) just open their profile and drag it onto them. When they log on/you log on as your alt the stuff will be there waiting.
