That's great. A close second to that would be the Oh with the first name Cleveland.

Why does this thread make me feel like I must be pretty boring?

Of the type of names they're refering to few are funny, most are just plain stupid.

One draw a distinction between those who gives themselves reasonably sensible names and those who fancy themselves as wits, and given the last name "Hawke" would come up with the first name "Knifeanf". I have to admit to having to overcome a natural prejudice against people in the second category - I feel they are not taking their SL very seriously. Though actually some are very nice people.

Then there are those who give themselves names like "Latexslut" - enough said already ...

Nothing to add here, really, but when I read the subject line I immediately thought of Onionpencil. When I met her that was when it clicked that Second Life was "different." :)

I have always loved your name Bodhi

There were a few Uggla people that used to come to my beach. Gooden, Badden, and Friggin. I have no idea if they knew each other or not.

I also think the name Cookie Jarvis is great.

There's also a Figar Oh.

Tons of rather amusing names crept up in this thread: /112/b8/115997/1.html

My favorites from that one would have to be "Oh Shi" and "ClapOnClapOffThe Clapper". XD

He wouldn't mind me quoting him, especially as he's gone to WoW and is unlikely to return. My friend at work signed up with IMA Acronym.

Smartarse :)

Oh yes. My name is NOT meant to be funny ... it's just unfortunately thought through. I've been called Cherry in other places on the net and this was the most Slavic surname available at the time. I've since seen my real surname as a name ... d'oh!

Well stupid can be funny at times. People consider Adam Sandler funny. I don't, but many do.....

Naming names is only a problem if it is used in a negative way. It's like having a gun, it's ok to target shoot with it as long as the targets aren't people (yes, furries are people).

Some of these names are in fact like someone stated here, "just plain stupid." Stupidity is not funny.

I saw this one female and she was all dressed up looking very elegant with a beautiful gown, swept up hair and high heels ready for a night out for formal dancing. The only thing was her name was, The devil wants to cry.

How stupid and ridiculous is this? Some of these people start out like this then later on things change for them and I'm sure they'd wished they had never gotten these type of names.
