I love some of the names people have used for their avatars here in SL. There are some absolute corkers. One of my favourites, for example, is someone who has given their avatar the first name of "Onionpencil" (note that I have not quoted their surname, so can't really be in breach of the "naming names" policy).
What are some of your favourite avatar names? Keep in mind the above policy for naming names - leave out the surname please peeps.

Not that I've seen it, but just thought Adolf Godwin woulda been pretty ironic. Funny? I dunno about funny, but definite irony.

The one SL name that's actually made me laugh out loud at the keyboard so far was "Cthulhu Calamari".

Nothing to add here, really, but when I read the subject line I immediately thought of Onionpencil. When I met her that was when it clicked that Second Life was "different."

Slightly sideways to the topic but.... I used to play a combat game, which when you wanted to IM someone, you had to type in their name first exactly right. One guy had lots of alts he played on, but all with the same style of naming protocols IsThIsMyFiRsTcHaRaCtErOrNoT... geez, he would drive me fingers into knots. Funny thing.... I was recently interviewed at a Expo in game, and the reporter had to take 4 tries just to say my first name.... dunno why.. its simple... AWM

yesterday i saw "Cum Flow". ugh. There's also Menstrual Flow, Menstrual Krams (clever) and Menstrual Paine. they are not really funny, and you can find them inworld on search, and i'm not really dissing them, so i don't think it's against protocol to tell you full avatar names in that regard. saw Bananaman and Lmaonade. those was cute. seems like food names are funny!

I once met a guy with Obstreperous as his last name. Even considered an alt, even though I don't need one, just to get that name, but it had disappeared from the list

Food names are funny. Bananaman and Lemonade both made me laugh. I have no idea WHY they are funny, but they are.

Actually, I think 3ring is clever and easy to spell. I've almost quit looking at avatar names in world because so many use a group title like "Grand Kahuna Extraordinaire, Empress of the Fifteen Galaxies." By the time I'm halfway through that I'm ready to log off.

From: 3Ring Binder said the trout pro-creator. LOL lol - Don't procreate, recreate! That's my motto. I didn't pick Trout because they are food, I picked it because its my nickname. I spent a lot of time as a fishing guide when I was trying to work my way through school and I picked it up there. "Steelhead" is too long for a nickname and "Salmon" is just silly. The only thing left in the rivers worth chasing is Trout. I don't even think of them as food, although I eat them all the time. Weird, huh?

Some names are really cool, then you have the really dumb ones where you wonder what the heck they were thinking or obviously not thinking.
