Isn't there a saying about better fences make better neighbors or something? How many people ARE there in this plot?

Shenanigans at least. Methinks there's even more to this story than is so far revealed. Candy claims (@ #21) that Mako has lots of friends--but we don't see much evidence of them stepping-up here. Mateo says (@ #32) that the "friends" are alts, and in that post and again @ #49, that Mako/Candy is/are/be renter(s). So far unestablished is the relationship between Mateo and Sweet Valentine (but they are "creative with text" in distinct ways, so probably not alts of each other). We haven't yet been introduced to the owner of the parcel that Mako/Candy rent(s). The neighbors built something that offended the renter(s), apparently on the neighbors' own land (@ #47 & #50), but the renter has skyboxes (@ #1), so one kinda wonders why the neighbors would be building anything in sight of the skyboxes.

Of course, it could all be an elaborate fabrication from the very first post; sometimes the cart with the little cups gets delayed.

As far as what this person is going thru' it happens a lot in sl. It's happening to a friend where a mall owner wanted to buy him out and when he refused he was harassed repeatedly.
And Linden will do nothing especially if the other party pays them off by owning large sims and lots of land. Most people know this, they just won't say it.

the owner of the plot is not playing SL anymore and has set the lease up to mako/candy/mutiple other alts to pay the tier it is a 1024 piece of land that he has used oversized prims on to go over his boundries into the neighbors lands on all 4 sides he bullied a few of the neighbors about where they built on there own lands cus he didnt want to see anything close to his at all
he got mad crashed the sim was suspended when he came off his punishment he was asked to remove his prims from the neighbors lands he refused defiantly the neighbor ARd the prims and they were removed by lindens just the way its supposed to go no funny stuff just by the book justification

NO ONE wants to buy makos land trust me lol that was a year ago he was asked and since then the tier is been filled

Personally, I played Warcraft and although I got to level 58 as a Druid on pvp server Firetree, I really didn't like it all that much, actually I now hate it but you're right, they don't care about the players. It's evident by what they do or in this case, don't do

Sorry, but I have to disagree on both points. I've been here for three years, met a lot of people, and only a few of them have been unpleasant. On one occasion, a neighbor raised his land to maximum height; on another, some other neighbors were being harassed with prim litter. In both cases, the offenders got bored and moved on soon. Almost everyone I've met here has been friendly to me, as long as I treat them the same way.

As for land-related harassment happening 'a lot,' it depends on what your idea of a lot is. In my opinion, it happens in a small percentage of cases, but it isn't running rampant. It's unfortunate that it's happening in this case, but it isn't really an indication of how things normally are.

And how do you explain me getting my account also suspended at the same time as Mako, for absolutely no reason. This seems a bit odd to me and its a bit saddening that none of the lindens i have spoken to can answer why i got my account suspended.
Yes i was on the land at the time but I didnt crash any sims or grief anyone. i protected myself when i was called a whore and a slut by the neighbours and also told several other disturbing things. i also filed an abuse report with no response. As far as i can see i went about the matter in the appropriate way and still got suspended, tell me how thats fair.
On questioning my suspension for 3 weeks i got no reply from lindens as to why. I feel if this incident was investigated properly there may have been a different outcome.
As for labelling Mako a Griefer i have never seen him do anything but help people.
What the neighbours did to him that day was uncalled for and i am a witness to that, why not grow up and talk to him like adults instead of making childish threats and Grossing people out with your nasty and abusive behaviour.

This is like most typical criminals. They get caught red handed in the act. But are innocent till the end.

sorry im not a linden. There the ones that caught you doing whatever it was you were doing. Than they gave you the punishment they saw fit for the crime. Must have been bad to get 3 weeks.
