Ruthed and unable to do anything about it?

None of us know and LL appears not to know yet. Yes, it is happening to me too.

Actually, that is a distinct possibilty, given that when I have his avatar stand up from a sitting on a prim, the place will not allow ANYONE to sit there after the avatar.

Looks like they found something - maybe related to the ruthing (crosses fingers).

*joins in the crossing of fingers* Oh, I do hope so. I want to concentrate on one screen again!

Actually I was invisible for over 18 hrs and logging into a new location worked for me. I'm still having a bit of problems rezzing so logging out is a crap shoot, sometimes Im invisable, sometimes Im not. Changing log in locations has worked everytime.

And Aura, between my husband and I on his account, we've logged into at least 6 different places to try to shake the invisible avatar/ruthed. In this case, it didn't work this time, although it usually does.

I think Gillian will agree with me on this, while I'm happy that others aren't suffering from this, I almost wish they were, so this could have been traced/fixed earlier.

Oh, I've been ruthed more times than I can count. And then there was the clone army of Ruths on the beta grid yesterday... It was just flat amusing then. I couldn't help but laugh. Someone IM'd me asking where I got my clothing.. and I was like, "Wait, I'm wearing clothing?!"

You can say that again, sistah!

I was able to fix it by right clicking on a clothing folder in my inventory and selecting ADD TO OUTFIT. I then became visible to myself again wearing the new clothes. Then I simply put on my normal shape and I was back to normal. Hope this helps.

I am terribly vexed by the constant "Ruthing" of my avatar. Daily, for weeks, several times a day after transporting I will be ruthed. Not that I can tell, My friends and employees are getting very good at telling me when they see me if I am ruthed. I wonder why because neither of my other 2 accounts, (both freebies) suffer from this condition, yet my main premium account is constantly ruthed several times a day.
I own 3 full sims of land and rent it all out very inexpensively so am constantly TPing around and meeting new players. Needless to say it's quite upsetting to me when one of my managers sees me and sends the dreaded "Ruthed" IM.

On the plus side, usually just opening the appearance menu fixes it. I have taken to the habit of opening the appearance menu everytime I TP now but it's crazy I should have to do this all the time. Hey SL! Please fix this bug!

*sighs tiredly* Okay, so I logged in with the invisible avatar on my hubby's account. But good news is, I can access the Library inventory. Bad news, doesn't matter until the avatar loads, because it will only give me the 'Cannot wear that because it is not available yet.'

Nor can I change into a new shape, since the avatar loading error message occurs.

relogging it ont his comp. Maybe this time, it will finish downloading.

So not Ruth still Raudf? I am not able to get on to see if this fix worked until later.

Sas is still Ruthed and it's frustrating. The inventory isn't even TRYING to fetch half the time. Did a relog and into a quiet zone. Didn't work. All I did was lose the Library folders again.

Edit: I'm wishing we had a button that could allow us to force a reload of the inventory. Whoops, logged in Raudf and well, she's Ruthed, but with inventory. Going to find a quiet place for her.

Oh dear. Guess that doesn't bode well for me either Not a fix apparently.

Maybe you can ping Char again to let her know it didn't work?

It will be several hours before I am able to log on, so I will follw this thread closely.

Sorry, Gillian, she's still Ruthed. I'm going to leave the account on and see what happens. Maybe it will just take her farking longer to download.

Drama ON: I have recently purchased land and a home. I'm considering expanding my alnd holdings, both personally and possibly as an investment. Between this issue and the PayPal issue, I may not be very patient and decide to cut my losses. Drama OFF.

Probably an empty threat on my part, I enjoy SL too much, but I do wish problems like thise were taken more seriously by the Creators.

I'm guessing there is some Biblical connection somewhere........

Okay, folks. Got some great news. Between Joshua Linden and Char Linden, hubby's account is back to normal and fully functioning. It required him being a guinea pig (he got home in time to tend to it), but they did some kind of magic (to me programming IS magic) and a log out and *poof* it was normal! Yay!

Good news, indeed. Any idea if this is a fix we have to apply individually, or a one time event?
