Someone shoot me!!! Would you say LL is classified as normal registered company or a group of friends living out their dream? I know most normal UK service companies with performance issues like this..........heads would roll......starting from the top! I do believe so, But they have to understand that issues at like times like this is a total insult to the users and paying members. I feel sorry for you that you pay so much for this platform. But LLABS is so so god like these days they can say and do what they like to whom they like on sl. take alook at this ......... http://www.goldengatebbb.org/commonreport.html?bid=57373

The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

perhaps this is simply a clever means of driving down land value even further. god knows im wishing i had a way to sell off land out of world. i want to dump land and save myself a wasted $75/mo in tier. maybe i will just live on a single 512 and use a temp rezzer for my few thousand prims. ...and wait for an alternative. i am so over this.

for me, land prices are not the thing stopping me.
Its a one off.
I could even stump up enough for an island if I tried real hard.
BUT
US$295 a month for a 1/4 or a server?
Such reliability??????
Linden - I would love to - I really would.
But its waaaaaaaaaay too much per month for what you supply, both financially and in terms of service.
..............see not one joke!

the truth about who writes LL blog entries: http://www.modryke.com/lindens_blog_generator.php. Some examples?: [In Progress] We are experiencing issues with the attempt to log into Second Life. Logins to Second Life have been temporarily disabled. We are trying to do the best to restore it and are close to a solution. We hope to announce a full resolution shortly. [In Progress] We are experiencing issues with the map and friends list. please refrain from attempting in world transactions. We are trying to improve your experience and are close to a solution. No ETA yet, but we will update further as we get more details. Thank you for your continued patience. [Fixed] There are actually some problems with the connection issues with the new Voice Feature in Second Life. Logins to Second Life have been temporarily disabled. We are trying to bring the grid back very fast. We hope to announce a full resolution shortly.

*peers at blog* LL has introduced a new game to Second Life apparently.. it's called, "Connection Roulette." Rules are simple: Type in a region name at login and see if you connect. If you are the winner, you log in and if you don't win, you have to try again with a new region.
Why does Connection Roulette remind me of Russian Roulette, except with no bullets in the chambers?
