bye DJ !

laughs, although that was gossip passed on from a girl so we all know how reliable that info is..

(ooooh sexism, that should get the old forum roasting away!) lol

Seriously though, I love days like this - spend most of it outside in the lovely sunshine... then come back to find you lot unevolving 20,000 years because you spent all afternoon without SL!

Don't believe me? Even LL started mocking this - go look at whats on the site when its down for maintenance, thats right, gorillas... penny dropped yet :D

Just accept SL for it's good times and it's bad times, sure this is one of the most turbulent weeks I've seen but then I guess integrating VOiP into every sim and making it an integral part of your application is a piece of cake eh... Maybe you should all taking your collective frustrations and go put them into the OpenSIM project...then when the problems kick off, who do you point the finger at...the mirror ?

In my 3 years almost I never experienced so crappy and useless game. Its doesnt work on a stay bases, and once its up its unstable and can break again withn a moments notice. I sure hope LLABs replays us the paying users for this crap they call the game SECOND LIFE. Then agin don`t count on that either. We are headed down down down to a endless spin to the empty black hole.

Ok whose garden shed are they working out of today............

LL: A serious company......with virtually no back up; customer service; or redundancy built into the system...they can't be serious.

Who would have so little sense to look at buying this Mickey Mouse company. !!!!!

Both of the online games I play are equally unstable, but then my email has problems, phone goes hawire and loses connection, hairdresser screws up, car breaks down etc. It's chaos!

If this was any other business there would be a telephone customer service dept that would be taking calls in office hours answering questions, informing CUSTOMERS ie: US! lol whats going on and making apolgise and assurances things WILL be dealt with because they dont want to loose their customers ie: US! to competition.....oh wait.....There IS no competition!
Ah yes... you see LL have nothing to fear really.. theres no other SL type world we can pack our virtual bags and move over to.

.

Theres NO where to go no one to talk to no one whos there to give us answers they closed down live help

If this was an internet service provider they would be bust as we would all of moved to another one but as it stands LL are holding all the cards...THEY rule the Virtual World stakes ...and until SL has some competition they will continue to treat us thei customers like shit
Patronising ignoring etc

I opened a thread the other day about this. I believe the best thing that could happen right now for any SL resident is for a serious rival to emerge over the horizon.......only when LL's livelihood with diminishing Linden coffers, will you see an improved service and the existance of a customer service. What you're seeing now is due to LL having that monopoly...with direct competition they would be forced into delivering a quality product with a fair & marketable pricing structure.

It will happen one day!

It's not a game dear its a 3d world, games have set plots, missions and goals. Very few people actually pay Linden Labs now, so maybe that also has to do with the increasing demand/exploit ratio.

*poke

Technote

I've just upgraded to the thicker gauge wet string network and things are now running much faster.

I have developed a scale for this...

1 Linden is not currency - it is the speed of SL under normal conditions (like 1G for gravity)

The new string (if I can keep it wet) means I am now running at 0.897 Linden .....

Just boil the kettle.....

For the very first time in, what, half a year? I just popped in my Diablo II disc. (Yes, I know. Things are getting desperate.) So one of the monsters drops an item, I look at it and it says "full plate mail". Only I read it as "full perm mail".

*whimpers* *bites lower lip*

I miss SL.

I think those are far more powerful than anything LL is using for the asset servers.. they are still using the old C64 with a tape cassette for data storage.

Work it; make it; do it; makes us.

Harder, better, faster, stronger.

More than, hour, our, never.

Ever, after, work is, over.

Work it, make it, do it, makes us.

Harder, better, faster, stronger.

Work it harder, make it better, do it faster, makes us stronger;
more than ever hour after our work is never over.

Work it harder, make it better, do it faster, makes us stronger,
more than ever hour after our work is never over.

Steve Austin: “I’ve got a blowout—damper three!”

Chase plane: “Get your pitch to zero.”
