I dont know what the actual answer is.. I just know LLs response was at best...flaccid. That's a very good way to put it, and now I know why we still haven't seen the promised blog entry... ...the Lindens are still waiting for their shipment of Lie-agra to come in to firm up their flaccid reasoning. |

Kirk would whip it off at a moments notice without so much as a moments hesitation. He would also just get all hot and sweaty or swept away with his lust for some alien woman, forgetting about the ship for a while. He still was the best captain by far. Back to STNG - now I know Picard was captain, not Riker and he was fairly fanciable if you like the bald older guy look but seriously if anyone was taking off their clothing my vote would be on Will Riker. Riker was smoking most of the time and they never capitalised on it. Such a shame really, STNG could have really been something. _____________________

On the subject of STNG, I always wanted to see an episode where Will Riker could not help himself any longer and passionately took Diana Troy up against a bulkhead someplace in engineering. The tension between those two sometimes was unbearable and would have been far more comfortable for them and much more satisfying for me if they had just given in to their more baser instincts once in a while. The were deviantly restrained mostly. *sighs* I was always disappointed in that and the fact that Will Riker never removed his shirt like Kirk did. Kirk would whip it off at a moments notice without so much as a moments hesitation. He would also just get all hot and sweaty or swept away with his lust for some alien woman, forgetting about the ship for a while. He still was the best captain by far. I'd like to know what constitutes a lie, too... Run across lots of transexuals, and many are probably more likely to admit it online.. If they simply ran around as the gender they feel they were meant to be, is that a lie? If I run around as a cat, am I lying about my species? My looks if I don't say upfront that I'm heaver than my skinny avatar? Got a card once with a dog in front of a computer that said "on the internet, nobody knows you're a dog" What if I say LOL when I"m depressed and not laughing? don't think that's actually a lie unless I were in a session with an SL therapist..

To be fair she was an empath - how could she not be emo? Besides I would be emo with Will Riker brushing past me in the corridor all the time too ![]() ![]() But you do make two valid points. Quite Logical. *Raises eyebrow. _____________________

"how old are you?" or anything of that sort, i will give them my avatar/character's stats. however, if someone specifically asks "what is your rl age", "what is your rl gender", or any of that stuff, i do not lie in that case. never have in any other mmo i played, never will |

You don't have to lie, I agree. But you don't have to tell them either if you don't want to. right, i typically also ask why they're wondering. if they don't have a good reason for wondering, i just simply say something like "sorry, but that's personal", or "i only give that to people i know better", etc. but in any case where i DO give my rl age/gender/whatever, i never lie. never plan to start that either. |

The coolest-looking uniforms in the entire franchise. Actually, I like them too. They had a little flair to them. I liked the Comfy DS9 Look too. Anything was better than those Pajamas they wore in the first movie. _____________________

I've got the entire collection of unis in my inventory. I got Dr. McCoy's short-sleeve shirt from the old series in my inventory. Being the only one who got to wear a short-sleeved shirt was one of the many reasons Dr. McCoy is my favoritest Trek character. _____________________

I've got the entire collection of unis in my inventory. Btw you guys were talking about Troy and Riker. Remember the episode where it turned out that there had been a computer malfunction years before and while "our" Will had gone on to break up with Deana so he could concentrate on his career a duplicate Will was stranded on the planet and when rescued was still in love with Troy? http://stng.36el.com/st-tng/episodes/250.html _____________________

Did you ever see that one in the original series where Kirk took McCoy and Spock down to a uncharted planet and there was this other guy with them in a red shirt. He like died!
