InSL u find every kind of no-life retard you could possibly imagine as well as a few even Tim Burton couldnt imagine u find 12yr-olds claiming to be 40 men claiming 2 be women, women claiming 2 make sense and every1 claiming 2 have ideas that are actually worth a damn if only someone would just listen to their unique innovative and exceptionally important idea

On the same theme, I always think it's odd when people give themselves titles as (or part of) their first names. "Master" or "Lady" whatever. I agree. Create a group and then you can give yourself any title you want. For me, Master Jethro Stubbs just doesn't sound as good as Moonshiner Jethro Stubbs! |

It never hurts to try. Well, sometimes it hurts to try.. like trying skydiving without a chute, but in this case, I think it's worth it. |

I used my 1st RL Name & birth date. Picked the last name at random till I found it was from the Anne Rice books I read. I find it amazing how many people were born in 1969! Must been that free hippy love. |

I can just imagine what LittleMe would imply to someone. You put the M in caps. So it shows that some thought went into it. |

I'm actually surprised that I did not know that. You learn something new everyday. And Earl Stubbs would have been a really good hillbilly sounding name. My next alt will definitely be named Earl! Earl Scruggs is a famous banjo player... it's close! ![]() _____________________

I don't really think about it too much but if I see a name like 'HotSXYstud123' or some other highly imaginative name I tend to avoid them like the plague! /me nods I just picked my cat's name. ![]() ![]() |

Well since you asked! I never gave it much thought, other than to wonder if the singer Jewel was a Suni Muslim. But it wasn't in caps and it wasn't a number. Although now I'm guesing that Sunny was taken and that Sunni was your second choice. Which is better choice than Sunny1. Actually, I tried being really *cute* first by trying things like Garnet (my birthstone), sapphire, etc just because I like them with "Jewell". They were all taken, though, so others were cute long before I was, I guess. I like Sunni, and it fit my "idea" of my avie when I was considering an account. Sunny was gone, yes, and I like the play on the spelling. _____________________

Names...
02-08-2008 12:19
There are some really DUMB names out there. I spent like 2 days going thru a bunch of first name listings, then matched them up with last names to see how they sounded before beginning SL and I'm happy with mine. It has a personal meaning to me.
Most first names with a number in it to me is, is like, that's the best you can do? Then there's the peeps who have spelled the name wrong, maybe it was intentional but it just ends up looking like they don't know how to spell. Then there's the names with a mixture of alpha and numbers which makes it very difficult to remember how to spell it if you need to look it up. Then the peeps who use lowercase, which just doesn't look right. Then the people with just icky names like umm sorry don't mean to offend but "poopmaster??" Ugh! But I am kind of picky about names. On the whole there are a bunch more names I don't like then do. Aah well, someone I really cared for didn't love mine. It was like "Sommer what's that?" so then they kept calling me Summer instead. And then some peeps select a name then realize later on it isn't exactly what they wanted. That's a drag I'm sure. One of my fav names here on the forum is Amaranthim Talon. Very original with a bit of the mysterious and whimsical. |

I was very pleased when my primary gave me this name.
He wanted me to be a kind of unabashed in your face type alt, so there is no question of what you are dealing with. Now if he would just buy me some freaking clothes! ![]() |
