Post Upgrade

Well, version 1.15 is downloaded and installed. It's 2hrs later and I STILL CAN'T GET IN!!!!! What's happening Lindens!!!! HELP!!!!!!

seems to be up, ingame now but don`t think alot of ppl will be happy if they have an ao, it keeps throwing 100 errors with animations it can`t find heh

It is strange, the new beta test veiwer has a bug that connects it to the main grid and I WAS ACTUALLY THERE! But still, downloading clothes and gestures failed and I crashed after about 6 or 7 minutes. Let me guess: bugs in the new viewer!

Once more LL demonstrates an inability to do an upgrade without makeing a major mess of things.

You watch the response from support be: Its something on your computers end blah blah blah. Oh really? Thats funny the only thing I changed was to the new client!

so now i just have a notecard with pose names for the ao, gee, nice headsup...

I finally logged in

BUT...

IM is lindened (not working)
group IM is lindened too (not working)
TP very... guess what? lindened..

And my belt is stuck in my ass.

searches not working right etc etc, they really need to test this stuff more thourogh before implementing it IMO.

Oh C'mon..... these guys are making a major overhaul of the system.. give them a break.... so we can't get in for a while.. so what? It's not the end of the world.....

Here's the problems I note so far after a few minutes being in.

1. Teleports extremely unstable.

2. Group IMs are not functioning.

3. Regular IMs are functioning sporadically.

4. Friends list down (but this appears to possibly be intentional? Website says "disabled"

5. Animations malfunctioning.

6. Map malfunctioning.

7. Groups in general not working: List won't pull up, can't send Notices or IMs or announcements, etc.

8. Two-plus hour logins and crashes.

I was in.. crashed out after a wee bit. I hope the ones I was in discuss with don't think I logged out on them! Grrrr.... And it's back to the waiting-to-get-in game.

Got logged in, FINALLY after 40 or so attempts! THEN GUESS WHAT??? ALL of my classified ads were changed, my land titles were changed and pushed back to the beginning HENCE it messed up ALL OF THE CLASSIFIEDS I PAID FOR AND SPENT HOURS WORKING ON TO GET THEM WHERE I HAD THEM!!!!!!!!!!!
I go to fix them and then I cant change them without rewording the entire fucking title because WHY? Because it wont let me use my space bar to push the ads back over where they were without deleting what i have even trying to use the insert button to put a space in there doesnt work. WTF PEOPLE?
The searches arent working.. I have the word FURNITURE in ALL of my TITLES AND Descriptions and guess what??? My ad doesnt show! FIX IT!
My otter was all blurry so i could barely see who was around me!
The search doesnt work for land sales either. I have property up but now when i attempt to search it by mainland mature only and the size i get NONE found.
THEN TO TOP IT ALL OFF!!! I CRASHED! Im out of SL trying to get in again. Ok so its up for almost 3 hours???? But yet you sit there and wait for the little bar to log you in as you sit there for 5 minutes without an error message but WAIT! OH THERE IT IS! Come on people try fixing the old problems with the program before implementing new ones into this shitty system.
I really cant believe you took the ratings off the profiles either after ALL of those lindens I dished out to up all of my friends ratings. Thats just stupid. You should pay everyone back for them since its like it never happened. What are you people thinking?

I'm just glad I'm at work so I can wait until later for everyone to flop around and figure out what doesn't work! And when that isn't enough, I still like my PS2!!

Im an Internet technician i know when its a PC thing. This only happens in SL. Its implemented into their program. It works on everything else and when i log out and back in it works again, so lets try again.

took some time to try different things but the ao`s are fuckedup with script errors, better off without 1 and throw away a couple k on it

Can't buy land for group because sl can't fetch it and says i can't be authenticated

I finally got in, logged out, and in again, because...

I looked at my profile, and, of course the ratings were gone, that was expected, but, so was my photo, about SL, everything except Picks! But, after a minute, they appeared.

..Still afraid to look at inventory and resume building things!

My friends list is missing about 2/3rds of my contacts, and group IMs seem to not work as well.

Think I will wait a few hours and check back tonight....

All functioning pretty normally for me now. [Prays to all available gods.]

I tried to buy land also, There has been an error while fetching land information, cant authenticate you. Contact SL Customer Service for help. Oh Please! Put the Live Help option back in the program and quit hiding from people.

I was so scared about this upgrade, I am not tech minded and the only thing going FOR me was the fact that my laptop is 2 weeks old, so has all updated drivers and stuff, I would of been stuffed doing all that, seriously I am so not that way inclined!

I have Vista too, and really thought I was going to get locked out... but after about 40 trys.. (lol) I did get in, and so far no problems in world.. everything for me is working just fine, though one of my very good friends did turn up at mine with new man boobs that he cant get rid off!! LOL Not sure they are growing on him!

I can imagine that Linden Labs were as nervous about this update as we were... please keep trying )

after trying to buy the land which i cant i lost my head of hair, thank god i dinna sprout man boobs. after rebooting i have my hair back but still can't buy.
