Griefers gone to far

please read the thread before posting. You cant return every thing to every one by right clicking on object with the mouse. I really think sometimes these people who jump in are the griefers responsible for it.

u need to go back and read the first post Angel lol matteo didnt touch anything this is about Tom and Simons club that was bombed or nuked by a griefer YES it was BOMBed yes LINDENS DID nothing to support him go look at th elink on matteos first post ANgel and see what challenges this Sim has then maybe u will understand a lil more and yes something ruined there build i saw it i ws there as were many others including lindens

I have to wonder why Simon nor Tom have remarked on this.

Tom and Simon are busy rebuilding there club so they can get back to having fun again and they probably dont read forums cus they are in the game for fun until a griefer like yourself Nyx (you are one of the ones that griefed my place many times and sent me harrassing emails so) SL residents are sick of it and this is not about Matteo or myself its about Tom and Simon and trying to let other know that your builds are not safe no matter what you may think they can be damage even with safe on your land ......your Ignorant to the facts in any of this so maybe you should post elsewhere Griefers are not welcome here and the only fool here is yourself

Well, I don't know either of them, but I do always wonder why people as this Sweet Valarie make suddenly their appearance on the forums and get straight involved in matters like these and blow from the highest tower.

As Angelique LaFollette I am getting a bit tired of all the bad talk in the directions of Linden. Until now they have help me greatly with any problem I had.

As for the matter decribed, that something happened, may be clear. And I still consider human error to be included as reason. As long I see no official warning or witnessed it my self I consider it mostly as spreading of FUD (Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt).

The package called 'AVALON SKIN AND SHAPE PACK' for a whopping $500L's which you sell multiple copies of.

The package you decided to call 'Miss Jasmine' Also newbie shapes and newbie templates MADE for the newcommers in SL yet you sell this for a whopping $500L's also.

And the Miss Savannah shape for $250L....it's not even one YOU created, good lord!

NONE of the above shapes were created by you....how odd.

A BMW Motorcycle which was created by a one Yari Yossarian which I will bet my next stipend you did NOT get permissions to sell over and over and over.

You also have the gall to sell an R2D2 created by Gene Jacobs.....tell me your kidding right?

And there are some lovely flexi womens clothing items in your shop, and many seem to have been created by Cattleya Harker......what a shock! And no folks these are NOT 'original' items as in a REAL yardsale...she sells copies!

And you also have a large number of silks by Estetle Nelson....all the same but different colors, maybe you bought all of them but I have to wonder.

You also sell that 'stick your toungue out' thingy for $75L which we can all get for free.

I found all of this without even leaving the TP area hehe....lord knows what else is there.

And for anyone who cares these were all at Sweet's shop as of today. All Copiable items for sale!

I do not know Simon but if I were him you would be the LAST person I would want helping me in any way shape OR form.

And while I realize this thread will most likely be closed soon, I implore folks to take a look and be aware of the freebies that scum suckers like Sweet Valentine and Matteo Harris and others will attempt to sell people because they can. Matteo bragged to me once about how much he was making in $$ by selling these items.

Go to Yadni's or Dove or The Shelter or so many other good places for free but quality items!

I think you should recheck your sources i know Miss Valentine Very well I know for a fact she created Miss Jasmine and Miss Bella and Her avalon pack and and her other shapes. I'm not sure where you get your informations but you quite wrong and as for the pose balls i know she has bought at other sales as i have been with her when she has, She has also paid 1k each for copiable poses for Craig and other sources so do your homework and dont go accusing people before you have them..... it really makes you look quite the idiot

(A take down order and what amounts to picketing is not harassment. These are methods commonly used and legal in the real world as well. Run a legitamit business and you won't have people doing these things to you.)

But to the actual topic at hand. What happened to Simon's club is a tragedy. It's a shame and I feel for them, so much work to have to do over.

That said, the best way to deal with something is to educate yourself on it. If you want to know the capabilities of weapons in SL, talk to the people who make them. The only weapons in SL that can damage land or move imobile prims can only work on damage enabled land. If the land was set to safe, then the damage was not caused by a weapon.

Matteo has suggested that it was a scripted item, that when it was returned, the script also returned everything else on the land. I myself have never come across a script that can do this and I don't know anyone who has claimed to know how to make one. But again, the way to find out, is to ask the experts. Go to scripters you know or maybe ask the question in the script forum.

Matteo has said that "Tom" returned the item and that it's not possible he could have accidentally returned everything else. If Tom clicked on the item itself and hit return, then Matteo is right, that was likely not the cause. However if Tom opened the about land window and hit return under objects, then it certainly is possible. The return button for a single item and the return button for all objects are right next to each other and many people have made that mistake.

Since we haven't heard from Tom though, we don't actually know what the story is there. As only Matteo and Sweet have posted about this and Simon himself or this Tom guy haven't bothered to, It's obvious they can't possibly give the whole story, they can only incite fear.

I do hope that Simon and the other group members have all the help they need. I hope they do get their club back soon and I hope this never happens to them again. Whatever the cause, it's a sad day for all of them.

Those poseballs of Craig's are not for resale individually, they're sold for creators to use in their creations... like furniture. It is explicitly stated in the shop, and when you buy them in a notecard. If they are being sold as is, then the creator is being ripped off. It's not Nyx who needs to do their homework.

edit: It really pisses me off that people do this, because it's really good of Craig to provide these for creators, at such a decent price, despite the fact that he has to trust in people's good faith that they won't just run off with his creations.

Buying something copiable, copying it and selling without the creator's knowledge or permission is the most comtemptible form of piracy I can imagine.
I'm a big fan of Craig Altman's work and would be disappointed if this kind of action caused him to shut up shop.

I also hope Simon gets Wheelies repaired. I've been meaning to visit ever since seeing his interview.

Wow. Just wow. Hard to believe people actually do these things (sell freebies). Must check it out for myself.

Has anyone heard from Simon? I remember interviewing him for Stratics just before Wheelies opened (read the interview here) and it seemed like a great thing.

I'm sure there are many of us who'd like to offer our services to help with the rebuild - if we're asked.

Incidentally, I did check out the shop mentioned as selling freebies above. I took a snapshot just to have. However, I wouldn't know what are freebies and what aren't offhand...
