It's "The Man" statue. I seem to recall it's not far from the Ivory Tower of Primitives. The Man is from the original beat, I believe. Also, Gov. Linden's Mansion is up there in age, too.

I realize this post is from 2007, but here is a picture of "The Man" statue.

(picture is from March 8, 2008. I have a note attached to the pic that says the statue was created July 19 2002.

An ya, that's "The Man," alright.

As far as oldest resident, it's still Steller Sunshine who also has some of the oldest items on the grid. She made the Governor's Mansion in Clementina as well as the beanstalk (the oldest Resident created content on the grid) that is still in Welsh, I believe.
