I dont know if this has been nominated already, but I'd like to nominate the game that I'm currently addicted with:

Boogie, by Hox Hauptmann

Thx for the Numba nominations

I'd like to thank those who have been nominating Numbakulla's Pot Healers Adventure, even though it does not fit the rules (its on the entire sim). It's most appreciative and reminds me why I still keep interest in SL as a whole.

It also makes a really nice gathering place (you don't need to have the game 'object' on to explore/enjoy most of the world) - just remember its a PG sim. :)

Not sure if its even possible to meld it for use with the expo, since its also free to play (we work on donations to keep it going). I can check with the Dev group, I'm just the land holder. ;)

But its always appreciated to donate and help us keep the sim up. There are donation pots scattered about the sim, including one near the Telehub (look near the fire).

Hamlet - As an aside, what happened to the 'places of SL' expo you were discussing back in Oct?

-----

OK, back on topic - Since I can't nominate Numba or DL, my favorite was Bingtris (despite the fustration level it tended to endear in me). Not sure the status of it though.

There was also an in-world 3D Tetris around someplace, which worked quite well at the time...

That's the only two 'games' (that fit the qualifications) which I'd nominate.

BloxSL
02-06-2006 13:15
I nominate BloxSL.
It reminds me of a multiplayer packman a friend of mine made using GML.
But this has even more elements like multiplayer MineWweeper. Where the opponents can block off your rout to a goal by clicking blocks to raise them. (The ones you tried to lower)

AWSOME game! :D

InBetween Nomination
02-06-2006 13:39
I respectfully submit my SL family's game, InBetween.

Based on a simple group card game, players decide if the third card dealt will be InBetween the previous two. The scale of the game is LARGE allowing for guest and lookers-on to be entertained by the high-stakes gaming.

The single-user prototype is currently undergoing public testing at Rainbow Tiger, next to the Club (special thanks to Shadow and Spike!).

Go see it: Rainbow Tiger InBetween Game

The final version, which began development last week, will be multi-player. This version will have a large multi-function scoreboard, displaying the L$ amounts of each player as they game, and top scores when the game is not in use. We are working to create a small single-user game version as well. For the event, will have a final version which would allow for tournament style play (ala winner-take-all). Game play will be fun and just as exciting to watch!

Thank you,

Leonard Churchill

This is an excellent game and alot of fun to play. It is a great help to newbies forhelping them perfect their technique in building as well as gives them confidence too. Plus a great way to be social and meet other people too.

I would also like to nominate/vote for the wonderful game InBetween by Leonard Churchill - this is a fun quickpaced game and can be compared to the reallife game of High/Low. If you haven't tried it out yet - you should jump over to the island of RainbowTiger and play your heart out (the game is located beside the Club)
