meant. As a matter of fact, I was as much making fun of myself as I was anyone who posted in this thread. By calling y'all ancient, I was calling myself a "rude n00b" and poking fun at all the recent talk about oldies and newbies. Subtle? Maybe. But perhaps not too subtle for someone who keeps boasting in the forums about his college education....Cris, thank you, too. Yes, I was out of line. After Darko's first response, I gave him a couple of really hard prods to see what he would do. Wanted to see if the "one love" thing was bullshit. Well, maybe it is, maybe it isn't, I still haven't made up my mind. But I appreciate the peacemaker in you, and I will try to behave.
Darko, if you push me, I'm going to push you back. Call me a fuck first, as you did, I'm going to point out that you've got me beat on that. I won't quit, just because you are who you are. It pains me that you can't see the sense in that. Yours and Paris' rhetoric in this thread are filled with references to that "young cowboy" or "arrogant newbie" or whatever. Lose that attitude; a December 2004 "incept" date gives no clue about who a person is or what he or she has accomplished. But if you want to stop this here and now, I'll stop. I'll even treat you with a little respect.
btw, I don't care for the city of Dallas. "Dallas" is a Scottish name, meaning "wise" (
), and is the middle name of a friend who is a former SL player, recently wounded in Iraq.edited to add: Oh, and Aimee! Happy to be of service. You're welcome to use the phrase!
