No. If you wish to express how you feel about these events, it is unfair of you to say that those who don't agree with you should not be allowed to express their views. Whoever said that? Express away -- I thought that was what we were both doing. But if you try to justify the display of racist/genocidal material and symbols, expect to get some grief from others. Like me. Just because I can't force anyone else to remove such symbols doesn't mean I must "tolerate" it. _____________________

I find no problems with either outfit, in fact they are down right cool. People seem to forget that there are some of us facinated with the WWII Era from a purely military standpoint. Nothing to do with attrocities or evil. Just man and machine and tactics on the battlefield. |

 I'm sad for all the German boys 'n girls, the only Indiana Jones movie they get to watch is Temple of Doom. *shudder* Doesn't this go back to the legendary KKK Avi snapshot that was sent to Cris Midnight's site? Or the infamous Nazi Death Camp build? Do you guys fully realize how many prims were burned in those camps???  Funny how people see a symbol and suddenly their brains go into Neutral. It's not that simple. You're not gonna get to coast thru life on the knowledge that when you see a swastika, you'll see hatred. If you see a guy in a pointy headed sheet....it's a guy in a pointy headed sheet. If you see him burning a cross...it's a guy who's also possibly a bit overzealous about his opinions and not too bright about fire safety. If you see him lynching a man for his skin color...he's a dangerous racist and a murderer. People get so hung up on Confedate flags, Nazi uniforms, and KKK sheets. Most hatred is not so obvious...we just prefer to think it is. That way, we can go on hating the Muslims/French/Gays/(your favorite classifiation here). But, hey...at least we're not wearing a swastika! _____________________

Having just read the threat on inworld copyright, and i can understand as in usual cases claims for most things must be submitted by parties involved, although these days the as far as im aware being from the uk and reading articles the dmca have been very active on chasing copyright breaches on behalf of companies/artists. so people may wish to help out protect from that. As far as my query goes what is the policy on lindenlabs use of sim names and trademarks The two that come to mind are "cisco" a trademark of Cisco Systems Inc, and "miller" is a trademark of Miller Brewing Company, Inc The other thing they share in common is that they are also last names. _____________________

This person is a child. Why must we continue to debate the activities of children as if they were adults? It is one of the oddest things I see in Second Life. This person is a role player. I have noticed that in SL there is a not a large role playing community. Sl is a social game not a roleplaying and when a role player comes around people get a lil freaked out. Go into the other mmorpg's and you will see a huge difference... _____________________
