Since there's a lot of controversy about my group, I figured I'd take some time out to satisfy some of your concerns. First, some basic information!

1- We aren't greifers!

(Surprise, surprise! I know that this is the general preception of the group, but I would like to say that for the most part, people that say this have no idea what they're talking about, and we find it rather amusing.)

2- We do not abide by the general drama and politics of Second Life. We do our own thing, and we have a good time doing it.

3- I know you're just foaming at the mouth to go on a tirade about "ZOMG ONE OF YOU GREIFED ME WHO WAS IT?!?!11ONE" but chances are it was not one of us. We probably account for 0.0000000000000021% of the "greif" in this game. Most of that being laughing at the SL Herald's hilarious portrayal of us.


With that said, Ask away! I'll try to answer your questions as quickly as I can.

1. What are my chances of getting a 15% discount on my car insurance?

tbqh sl is a pretty bad game, it's slow, the interface is bulky and retarded, and it just generally sucks
but it's a LOT of fun to piss people off
that's the only reason i play
otherwise it's just a feature-deprived irc with avatars

For clarity, the above chatlog, which Ryen needs to clearly mark as a chatlog a bit more to set it off from his post, is from a few days ago when a member of our group got a bit racist in IRC chat. Needless to say, he isn't with us anymore.

There are a lot of nice, creative, and talented people in Second Life, and even a lot of people who can take a joke. The Second Life forums are not a good representation of the general Second Life player base, and there is more to the world than goth sex clubs and idiotic events.
Keep in mind that if you approach everyone with hostility and disrespect they are probably going to treat you the same. A good way to find people who aren't retards is to stop treating everyone you meet like a retard.
More than one person from Second Life has gotten along well with the group, and some have even joined the forums/group.
Try to treat SL like a community instead of a game, and you will rarely get in trouble. If all you ever do is bother people, you will either get permabanned, or become tired of it and stop logging on. If you look beyond how amusing it is to act like a retard, you will probably find that SL is one of the coolest things you can do on the internet. Going back to the community thing, there are people (and groups) of all kinds, everything from treehuggers to rednecks, and countless incredible places to visit. You can fly around the main continent and all the private islands for weeks and still not be able to see everything. "

W-Hat is ok by me ... The only grief i've encountered in world are Home Defense Systems ;0 YOU HAVE BEEN EJECTED FROM THIS LAND BY HDS *POM* But it was only a flyover!! I was just leaving honest! Now I'm thrust back in the other direction and forced to find my away around your dirty little plot in your laggy little hellhole of a sim. Who the hell are you anyway and why would I want to visit you in the firist place with your over enthusiastic approach to personal privacy protection?

W-hat... is there and entry for Secondlife in the SAclopedia?

No. In fact, outside of the W-hatters you see every day, I think maybe a handful are aware of SL or know about us and are doing their own thing. The rest of SA doesn't really care, I'd imagine.
