Ageplay more evil than Dolcett?

I've been considering the posts i've seen the last few...oh who cares, it's the same shit pretty much daily anyway.....so I've considered the general state of the forums and come to a bit of a wall.


Why does Ageplay get met with such shock, anger, and ZOMGYOUMOLESTBABIES....
...whereas Dolcett (named for an artist who depicts cannibalism and the demeaning and slaughter of women via Chick-tract like toons) roleplay is never brought up?

Or have I hit the Silent Wall? You know, that place where people put things they just dont want to discuss because...well...

Not that I'm making a big deal of it myself, I'm no herbivore. But still, why the duality?

They're both pretty disgusting as far as I'm concerned.

There's just no threads about the eating. Just the screwing.

I think perhaps - and this is conjecture, mind you - that it could be because there are so very many people who have experienced molestation, but damned few that have experienced cannibalism.

how do you experience cannabolism and be able to talk about it afterwards? I would think you wouldn't survive the initial experience.

Until this moment I'd never even heard of it.

Well, possibly not as a first party, unless they cut off an arm or summat.

Has anyone encountered this in SL? I've been in SL 34 months and have yet to come across 'Dolcett play'(?).

That’s right a molested survivor would really have a problem with age play. Second Life can be a great place for fun sex but there is a line IMO.

OK! I just Googled up "dolcett" and was thoroughly grossed out and stunned.

The line is highly individual for each person. I have some kinks I cannot tolerate in my presence, so I leave if they come up. I don't think, for the most part, that my particular code should apply to them, though there are exceptions (issues of consent that simply do not come up in SL, but could conceivably do so in FL.)

And I wouldn't presume to speak for all molestation survivors, but I have little problem with ageplay myself; I prefer not to watch it done but I don't run screaming.

This has been eating at me for awhile now. Really, it's alot to digest. I dunno if I can stomach discussing the subject.

Dolcett ? Ageplay ? - that's harmless, both are not real.
But you mentioned Chick Tracts - now that's shocking

Being a survivor of such myself, this is one of the reasons I get so bothered when people think I'm an ageplayer. So not my interest.

Of course, I also note that the last thread about kids on SL became a cookie thread. I hope we dun end up with cannibal cookies!

I found a place in SL over the weekend where there were poseballs arranged on a long banquet table (in a huge, opulent castle) that were obviously intended to serve something other than food. I was a bit shocked when I realized what it was, but it belonged to someone else on their own private property so who am I to judge? Nothing can happen without consent.

I've heard and read about Dolcett, never experienced it (or cared to) though I have a friend who has participated IRL (it's fantasy, nobody was actually eaten - she was basted and served on a faux spit just before the sex part).

One thing about SL, if it exists, you can bet someone's doing it somewhere. As to the original question why there's not much said, it's probably because it doesn't carry nearly the same emotional baggage for people as the "age play - child molestation" linkage. That, and not too many people even know it exists.

But Cindy's right. If it's fantasized in SL, somewhere it's happening IRL, typically. Not SL's fault, but its the darker side of "if you can think of it, it's happening".

What is it, I wonder, about Dolcett drawings?

I swear I've seen drawings similar or worse than what is depicted and I feel no adverse reactions. But the Dolcett drawings gave me a somewhat queasy reaction despite being only line art.

I'm not conservative but would recommend that people not look it up.
