ok you say the government shouldn't decide what is a valid religion or not right? ok so ppl should be able to have w/e on thier marker correct? what about someone who wanted a swastika on thiers? now if there is a few with crescents thats great, but irrelevent really, since Islam is the second largest religion in the world. anyway by your way of thinking some Aborigini from lower asscrack Australia needs to have his religion recognized and marked? do you understand what i mean, it probably wasn't meant to discount his religion but recognizing EVERY religion would be impractical.

I note you ignored what I said about wherever possible. See, it's not possible to budget for everyone's marker. It is possible to allow the family to have the etching done. An option that appears to have been (and currently is) available to others. Sensible, allows the opportunity for everyone to be represented without crushing tax-money budgets, and manages not to say something as wholy stupid and pig-ignorant as "Aborigini from lower asscrack Australia". _____________________

The ACLU has no right the judge us .. we are american based not a commuinstist country ! PPl all over are jelous of what we have and they try to distory what we have ! like 9/11 they thought that would weaken us but it just made us stronger as ppl .... If the government is going to offer a headstone with a religious etching on it, yes, they have a responsibility to offer the soldier's choice of religious etching - not from approved form A-12. _____________________

Has anyone noticed that no one tries to have a discussion on the forums? All they do is tell everyone how they are right, and anyone who doesn't agree is automatically wrong. They don't even considering what someone else has to say.
Why do you bother to type up a response when you know the other person isn't going to listen to what you say? All they will do is tell you how wrong you are. Everyone seems to forget that opinions are not facts. |

I won't take the bait. i am not trying to pick a fight, i am debating it with you, but if my memory serves you started the insults. so either finish what you started or admit that i do have a valid point, in that its completely impractical to recognize EVERY religion. it would be nice if it was possible but this is the real world and somethings just aren't possible. |
