Actually, the possibilities aren't limited, because possibility is potential, not what is.

Many have made the argument life is here because it's possible, even though it's not probable. They insist the possibilies are limitless, and that sooner or later every potential will eventually come to fruition. That's how they explain life anyhow.

Given sufficient time, all things are possible according to this reasoning.
