For this reason, even if I knew for a fact that the Christian god did indeed exist, I could not in good conscience worship him.

Grasshoper If any man tells you that you or another man is going to hell, you can pretty much discount it. There is no man on this Earth that knows another's heart. Until one's heart is known, there is no way of telling where someone is going. God alone knows the heart of men, and God alone decides thier fate... I have read somehwere that Ghandi actually went to a Christian church to inqure about their faith, but was rebuffed by the Christians there and told to 'go be with your own people'. Sad state of affairs eh? The Bible says that God is a fair and just God. I know where no man will be going at the end times except for myself. I don't count myself better than any other. Quite the contrary, I think that there are many many folks out there that are much more deserving than I. But I can not (nor would ever) force someone follow my Lord and Saviour, He doesn't. |

Without reading all of the posts did the scientific proof reveal what the best religion is? I was born Jewish so I suspect that is the right one but if I am wrong I will quickly buy airline tickets to Salt Lake City or Calcutta or wherever.

Sadly no, the *best* religion wasn't determined as far as I could tell. Heaven's Gate followers got free tennis shoes so I heard, and there was another smallish one that had lots of fun, free KoolAid socials at a private retreat. Might want to stick with something more mainstream. Christianity is popular and easy to get in on, even at the last moment. But if you switch plans and the other provider falls through you could be in some real trouble. |
