I think heaping artificial pity and false images of sadness onto atheists is an attempt to shame people into accepting your religion, while making those already indoctrinated feel better about their captivity. I'm immune to such sophomoric attempts at manipulation.

I see all the branches, based on the outcomes of random events or personal choices, and I see how they diverge and converge. For example, that day that you were sitting there, with your finger on the mouse button, deciding whether to sign in to this little virtual world was a fulcrum for your life. But regardless of which way you chose, the events around you would have been relatively the same.

Kevn was actually supposed to be the next Albert Einstien. But, as chance had it, he stumbled across the Second Life home page one day, and came in here, instead. That was a week before the freak accident that was going to hyper-accelerate his mind and turn him in to a super-genius. He was SUPPOSED to be driving down 4'th street when the container fell off the back of the truck carrying it, but instead, he was editing his appearance. So the mutagenic goo fell on a couple of cockroaches and a beagle. It increased their intelligence by a factor of twelve million.

The cockroaches went back to their brothers (all 14,000 of them) and formed a small army. Their goal was to take over the local TV station and begin their goal of world domination. Using subliminal advertising, they began infiltrating the hearts and mind of the local populace. Of course, three days later, Howard's Pest Control sprayed for bugs. Even a super-intelligent cockroach is still bound by the laws of nature.

The beagle's intelligence was also increased by 12 million times. Now in addition to "stay" and "fetch", he knows how to play dead when his master points at him and clicks his thumb down like the hammer of a revolver.
