From: Reitsuki Kojima Now, do you force the jews to live with people who had just tried to kill them, or take away the land of the people who fought to save them? So you pass them off on a "new" (not really new since they have been hating each other since recorded history) group of people who want to kill them? Smooth move.

I am just a simple girl from the heartland of America. I do think that common sense says taking land from people is a bad move. People usually are never happy about it.

From: Reitsuki Kojima Translation: I want to complain, not solve problems LOL I think Isreal already exists, and they aren't giving up that land. Unless we can time travel and stand before the UN and explain why creating Isreal might be a bad idea, you are just being silly. Amusing but silly.

Amusing but silly. But even if you could, what would you suggest? That's the thing. It's one thing to complain... But what would the answer have been?

Let them live all over the world like everyone else, or let them buy some land from someone. THey have European friends, I am sure they could have found some natve people somewhere to buy some land from with small pox blankets, liquor and beads.

The actual quote of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad made on December 14th 2005 is:
""They have created a myth in the name of the Holocaust and consider it above God, religion and the prophets,"
Going by the strict definition of myth as "sacred story" it is in fact quite true.
Any other interpretation of this quote is conjecture on the part of western forces that seek (much as they did with Iraq) to fan the fires of WAR.
I can't believe people are actually buying into this crap AGAIN.

From: Eboni Khan Thank you for proving my point. Any time you mention slavery, middle passage, african genocide, you get smartass comments and usually they are followed that was in the past blah blah. You mention the holocaust and it is the ultimate trump card, everyone just shuts the fuck up. man what? Eboni, I just finished editing, a couple months back, a role-playing game supplement that deals with slavery, and includes a broad chapter on the real world history and practice of slavery, right up to the modern era. As a consequence, I had to do quite a lot of research; as mentioned, I learned quite a bit in school, too, of course, which was my point - there are no "slavery deniers" anywhere close to the mainstream of society, whereas you seemed to claim there are.

THey have European friends, I am sure they could have from some natve people somewhere to buy some land from with small pox blankets, liquor and beads. I grew up supporting the state of Israel, being Catholic, and not knowing what the history of this whole situation was. Big meanies don't want Jews to have their own homeland! Boo! But now, I pretty much agree with Ebs on this. They picked just about the worst place with people that disliked them the most. Yeah, its the Holy Land, but how long can you go on calling a place Holy when there's murder and war there on an almost daily basis? Doesn't that seem just a little messed up? Re: the Holocaust revisionism being illegal in Germany - well, most of us are coming from an American standpoint, and we have an extremely short memory when it comes to history as a country. I'd imagine Germany - this tiny little country that went off their rocker and killed millions of people and started a World War - is still a little sensitive to it as a whole. Its something they live with - and still try to live down - every day. Germany and Hitler are inextricably linked in people's minds and will be for long after we're gone. Their revisionism laws I always saw as an ongoing mea culpa - we're really sorry, we know we messed up, and its not going to happen again.

From: Eboni Khan THe numbers are greatly downplayed. The numbers are actually a bit controversial, is part of the problem. There very credible people who claim a wide variety of statistics, including some very compelling arguements for their position. If you believe the larger statistics, the numbers are downplayed. If you believe the most conservative statistics, the numbers are exagerated.
