For max details you need about 3.8ghz, 2048 ram, 7900gtx ..... 5 days to release

I preordered it but i'll prolly cancel that and call my local ebgames every 15 minutes on the 20th to see if it's in yet. I leave for greece on the 24th, so i'll have to get my fill!
Waiting for it for 4 years and I only have three days to play it. *sighs*

Looking forward to it, Thrili. I don't think I've beaten every mission in Morrowind, (if it's possible ^.^) but that's something to work on while I build $50-60 for Oblivion. And maybe more RAM. But in the meantime, /me affixes my overclocked PC under a dozen fans and a vat of liquid nitrogen

I can't wait for this one to come out, I have it reserved at my local GameStop so I'll get it the day it comes out. I'm going to get the PC Collectors Edition only because of it having the DVD instead of the several CDs.

According to the GameStop website the regular version has CDs and Collectors Edition has the DVD, thats what I was baseing it on, I even asked the guy working at the store. Please show me where it says diffently. If true I'll have to go by GameStop tommorow and see if I can change the order.

Go collectors edition anyhow. The guide to tamriel is going to tickle my inner geek... DnD in tamriel, baby. It was originaly an in-house DnD setting anyhow. The coin... Eh, but I'll take it

According to both the EB Games and GameStop websites the regular version is CD and Collectors Edition is DVD, but both Best Buy and the website through which Bethesda sells their games says both are DVD. I'll just get the Collectors Edition, its only a $10 difference anyway.

Eh, but I'll take it It also has the Making of Oblivion Documentary, which between that and the guide is worth the $10 extra money. The coin I'll probably lose within the first week.

Us poor sods in Aussie still can't get XBox 360 yet (I prefer not to clog up my PC with too many games so I won't be gettin it for that). It's being released on 23rd March. Less than a week now thank god. Oblivion is originally wasn't going to be available at release, but it is now. I probably lost about a year of my life in Morrowind, and I'm still playing the Bloodmoon expansion. Seen movies and stuff of Oblivion, but I'm dying to see it "in the flesh".

For the past three weeks I've been randomly yelling "OBLIVION!" at my mate. I imagine it's getting a little nerveracking at this point but I just can't help it. Oh why couldn't it have come out before spring break?

Oh why couldn't it have come out before spring break? I've been randomly yelling it to all my friends in SL. I firmly believe that they said it would be the "week of the 20th" so they could release it on the 24th and screw me out of being able to play it for three more months. When I was looking forward to Morrowind it was bad... but wow, nowhere near as much as this. *sits twitching*

*sits twitching* Wah! I'm not the only one. Aren't they evil? After it's release it'll only get better as time goes on though. Just wait until someone remakes Morrowind with this engine.

Are you guys talking about the company that made the game DaggerFall? You know, the game that would not run for more that an hour at a time without crashing? The game where quests were often missing the TARGET of the quest, and you could not get a new one without finishing the current one? The game that fans were told that would get no more patches, though it was still so buggy as to be nothing more than a beta? You know, I think I'll pass. Regardless of how good it looks, it will probably be unplayable. (And yes. Foolish Frost is STILL mad about shelling out $50 for a game that would never work right.)

I still play Daggerfall now and then I know. It just seems wrong to reward then for DaggerFall when I can get other games that are just as fun and have not pulled that stunt before. Heck, I'm pretty sure none of the same programmers from DaggerFall will even BE on this project. On the other hand, I still remeber the Terminator game they made too. The one where I died because I fell off a 2 foot high cliff... <sigh>

Foolish, yes.. Daggerfall was quite.. lacking, BUT have you played Morrowind? it took huge leaps forward and the Xbox version was very smooth running. never played the PC version, but i'm assuming that was just as impressive as an advancement. now, Oblivion is just.. wow.. a massive improvement on Morrowind. lots of technical and physics improvements on top of graphics. - i'm still not sure whether i want the PC version or the 360 version. i prefer the Xbox because i'm used to Morrowind that way.. but all the modding looks mouth-watering. question is though, will that be available on the 360 version? with the ability to share files between your 360 and (Windows) PC, is it possible thatw e'll se some mods available for download through Xbox Live? *drools* ..ok, i'm going back to watching a couple more preview vids. (i'm already dreaming of the Elderscrolls iteration.. as an MMO! sure, it would slaughter the competition, but.. *shrug* ..would anyone really mind?)

Morrowind wasn't called "Game of the Year" for it's bugs, lets put it that way From: Cybin Monde i'm still not sure whether i want the PC version or the 360 version. i prefer the Xbox because i'm used to Morrowind that way.. but all the modding looks mouth-watering. question is though, will that be available on the 360 version? with the ability to share files between your 360 and (Windows) PC, is it possible thatw e'll se some mods available for download through Xbox Live? *drools* My gut feeling is /no/, simply as a matter of simplicity... The game doesn't install to the hard drive on the 360 the way it does on the PC, so my gut feeling is that it isn't going to be very friendly to tinkering. I've been known to be wrong though. Maybe I'm just bitter that I... STILL CAN'T GET A FUCKING 360...who knows. ..ok, i'm going back to watching a couple more preview vids. From: Cybin Monde (i'm already dreaming of the Elderscrolls iteration.. as an MMO! sure, it would slaughter the competition, but.. *shrug* ..would anyone really mind?) The entire world of Daggerfall as an MMORPG? I think I might forsake reality for that. /currently playing some Morrowind, Reis the Bladepriest... Longblade, heavy and medium armor, restoration and destruction, with the rest of the magics and armor skills as minor skills. Fun.

I'm a PC girl m'self. At least I imagine someone will have a similar process for the 360? http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=2036http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=235

There might be some minimal editing on an Xbox but I wouldnt count on it too much. I think thats the only reason I dont bother with consoles- cant mod the games!! Would've done some mods for half-life2 but they went with SoftImage for their modeling software All I can do is maps!!!

Will your pc run it? they did some testing with video's showing how it on a pretty low pc build, shows it running max details, normal details and fps. Also has several screenshots with max details, and standard to comparison. http://www.justgamers.de/?page=news&news_id=42240 download movies and see how it went warning Babelfish slaugher translation page below Since a few days now already are we in the possession of the PC version of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion the successor of the successful Fantasy game of roles Morrowind. In one week it stands in the shops and so far could still nobody be safe: " Does it look good also with me? Jerk ELT it? Is it worthwhile itself?" We tested and were quite surprised Oblivion once with a rather moderate computer of the graphic Imposanz and despite the still moderate Framerates; but of it everyone of our readers now can convince itself. In several Ingame videos and numerous Screenshots with direct comparisons of several dissolutions we would like to offer the possibility to you already once before the purchase to look whether liquid playing with a responding diagram is at all possible. The average test computer looks in the rough one as follows: • Windows XP pro • AMD Athlon XP 2200+ • 1024 MT GDR RAM • ATI Radeon 9800PRO 128 MT
