On several occasions now, I have remained invisible long after I logged on. And I found that in these cases if I logged off and back on again, then sometimes I show up promptly on that next login, with no error message.
And I'm still getting inventory corruption.
My avvie has dark brown gloves as part of her 'fur coloring'. They showed as brown in the appearance controls, but showed as white and full-length to me and to others. I had to change the color to something else, save, change it back again, anbd save again, to fix them.
I wore a dress today, that I had made. The top showed as one dress, while the bottom displayed a different dress (also of my making). Yet the Appearance CP and my inventory said I was wearing the matching skirt for the top that I could see.
*sigh*
