Clearing the cache does not help because I tried that. I was finally able to get someone to fix mine after using an alt this morning. I have a feeling it has to do with those of us that have too much inventory.

my Arksun inventory is around 4555 . I wouldn't really class that as particuarly massive, some people have 25,000. I've even heard of 100,000!

But yeah, if and when i do get on i'll do some house cleaning and try to lower that down a bit. A lot of that is textures though that i need. Hmmm, maybe its time to buy a texture machine

This is the suggestion I just received in email from Abishai Linden:

1) Open c:\Documents and Settings\(yourusername)\Local Settings and
delete the contents of your Temp folder.
2) Open c:\Documents and Settings\(yourusername)\Application
Data\Second Life and delete the entire Cache folder.
3) Uninstall Second Life using the Add/Remove Programs tool in your
Windows Control Panel.
4) Visit http://secondlife.com/download and download and install the
latest release. (latest release March 27, 2007)

NOTE: If you cannot see the files or folders, go to the Tools menu,
choose Options, go to the View tab, and select Show Hidden Files and
Folders. Then click OK.

I haven't tried it yet :)
