Unable log in.

Same here. SL still sucks.

Did they ask you to send them your ingame name on that one then ?
I have done that so they may be having to sort out people still having this issue
on an individual basis.
Dunno really....guess we will just have to see what happens

Had this problem last night around 6 SLT...and to this minute, it still does not work, which I find shocking. But...it did take them AT LEAST 4 hours to fix this last time.

But if the letter thing is right, that would explane why I could not log on with my main or my alt (both A names) and how I was able to log in with a friend's account (K name).

I can understand that there are problems and thing can come up. I can also understand suppost not knowing a thing, that seems to be a normal thing. But what I can not understand is the fact that they dont want to tell us a thing...its been almost 12 hours (for me at least, dont know if its been longer) and there has been no news and no fix. Just very disapointing...

I have the same problem again (3rd time now in a row!) "copy inventory to new database"
I wonder how long Lindens plan to tease us with "faster databases" which are not working at all - and that with a support who only reacts if one start to annoy the Lindens...

Had a friend submit another request. Harry Linden was able to repair the issue pretty quick. I'm back in world . Thanks Harry Linden.

I will have to wait and see if my logon has been fixed as I am at work at the
moment. Fingers crosed tho for when i get home hopefully.

I contacted the in world live help again and they said they were aware of the problems.

Figures, I'm hit with this bug too. As soon as something important happens in game, I'm out like a light. Whenever a Linden decides to log on my friend will IM them about it...

I have the same problem. I can log in just fine with my alt avatar but not with this one. If it's an A-name problem as someone said above...they at least know the reason and I think we can be sure that they'll solve it. Keeping my fingers crossed. Could someone ingame please help me to get back in? Luv....

After this problem was solved 2 days ago, I have the same problem again and cant log in. Same error message.

Hrm, interesting theory, the A name thing. I can't log in again either but can with an alt that starts with an "M"

I wanna know what happens when rent becomes due, etc., and we can't log in to take care of it!

At inhelp I was told that they are (hopefully) working on this ERROR. I dont know as you dont get any answers from support. They dont want to reset my database with the argument, that I am not the only one and they first want to get the Error fixed. It is unbelievable how they treat their customers. I dont earn any money any more in SL and will be thrown out of my job, if I dont show up. Thank you Lindens for the great support.

Its not the A name thing. My friends name also starts also with "A" and she can log in.

Well obviously not every person with the an A name is having it. But a database that has a ton of A names is broken.. Adding myself to that list.

Add me to the "we're working on the problem but until then you're out of luck" list, too.

Yeah, you can pretty much add me to the list. I figured I'd go outside and *Gasp* do some yard work and it would be fixed by the time I got back in... How wrong was I. I'm having withdrawals from my Pixeled, online life.

Ya know, a simple "We don't know how to fix this yet but we're working on it" would go miles toward making the users feel better about the problem. I know that I would have a lot more patience in waiting to get it fixed if I saw something like that. Instead I get an email saying I've been "added to the list" and no update on the problem in the blog. Why is it that?

That certainly goes further than a reply from support just giving a link to a blog saying the issues being resolved, and telling me that i can still downgrade my client. lol. 1.14 works great for me!, frame rates doubled super smooth... when i can actually get on!

I am on now of course, under an alt i just created, got straight in no probs. Doing the noob walk. lol, ahh that brings back memories, crap walk, zero lindens.

I will say this though, having no inventory and no extra body attachments, my GOD i can teleport fast!. Anywhere on the grid i just zip there super quickly.

My sl friends seemed to recognise who i was pretty quick too, am i that obvious? lol

Still though, none of my items, and can't work on my own land *sigh* i was really hoping to get stuck into some new building work today.

Arksun, hop on over to Free Dove and pick up a walk override and freebie clothes and skins! Saved my life last night when I created a new Avie because I couldn't log onto my main. How silly we are! "OMG, I have the noob walk! I can't be seen like this!"

I'm in, so they are working through the list.

..what an insult, never mind the fact that i was talking to him on the 1.14 client. The fact that other people have downgraded and it made no difference.

Add to that its affected people that haven't even tried the new 1.14 client!. God I just wanna give them a slap! lol

In fact, has anyone reading this thread, downgraded from 1.14 to 1.13 and found they could get on from this 'copy to database' error. please post if you have!
