Compile and Publish, on the public Internet, an "Age Play" list of AVs!

I invited you to come discuss your views. I want to understand them. And after flinging about accusations of filth and perversion for a virtual act between two consenting adults I'd like to hear your justifications and exactly how and where those lines are drawn., as I said before. But this is not the place. As we've already been told.

These are the same kind of people that somehow think it's okay to police the bedroom and decide what is okay for two consenting adults to do, yet when people 'get all up in their business', are the first ones to complain.

Basically, I'll distill the argument for you: 'I want what I want, and that's that, regardless of whether or not it grabs other people's rights by the unmentionables and stomps unceremoniously on them, bakes them at 450 degrees, and then tosses them in the shrubs.'

Do a search and replace of the words 'age-play' in the original post with 'gay', or 'jew', or 'black', or even 'christian'. Those things can all be 'gut-wrenchingly horrible' to different people. You can even use the same arguments on those people: 'If you don't think that's nasty and perverted, I don't know wtf is wrong with you'. It's all the same. It's not giving a reason, it's simple back-peddling and rhetoric, and it might do you good to do some introspection and discover why two consenting adults doing something that you might not like, but in their own privacy, bothers you so.

Oh, and dressing sexy causes babies, which is arguably the leading cause of hunger. I'm going to make a list of all the people that dress sexy, and post them on a website. That'll show them!

Richie, you are NOT a psychologist and do NOT know that people who engage in age-play are fantasising about having sex with children.

It is an easy group of people to pick on as in your mind it all is wrong, even thinking about it is wrong. You cannot regulate what people think or they cease to be human. Do you advocate stopping people from dreaming when they sleep lest they dream something illegal?

NOW, remember when you were a child, did you, in your innocence, "play doctor"? was that wrong? perhaps age-players are re-living a time when life was less complicated, perhaps it is a regression to a time when their innocence and curiosity led to things like playing doctor (god know I liked looking at vaginas long before I had sexual thoughts).

But I am not qualified to figure out why age-players engage in what they do, (I am not one myself btw) my point is that it is wrong to make it black and white as you don't really have a clue.

To give you the benefit of the doubt, I would say you are simply concerned that age-players may be gearing up to molest children in real life, to that I say we should be alert to any age-player who hints about RL sex. That is crossing the line.

On a different note - the wonderful thing about defending someone's freedom of expression (NOT their freedom to jump the bones of some poor innocent child), immediately lumps you in with the child porn defenders (or even, *gasp*, the child molesters themselves, if the person is brazen enough). This isn't about defending someone's right to reach out and molest someone, it's about the the assumption of the original poster, and several later ones, that age-players are child molesters.

First of all, it's my guess that if they were... they'd be on the teen grid, not on the adult grid. Second of all, unless you have some sort of factual federal and/or clinically sponsored statistic of child molesters that shows that any sort of percentage of them at all were involved in the sort of adult consenting age-play that takes place on second life, I'd rather assume they were innocent until proven guilty.
