One thing I would like to question is the obession of some people with this subject? What makes them so eager to dictate private, virtual behaviour of consenting adults ?
What makes it so important to them that it resonates so much when, obviously, there are so many more venues to deal with real, non virtual, non age play child abuse ? Frankly, look at the time spent answering to this forum that could have been spent as a listener on a 800 child abuse help line or collecting funds for children safehouses? btw, if you interpret that post as a way for me to say "go get a life, you useless moron", you're 100% right. _____________________

You seem to be on a crusade...do you really find that a valuable use of your time? Look, the concept of 'age-play' is equally disgusting to me. But then so is sex with furries...kind of like bestiality, or Gorean play. I find quite a few things distasteful and would not like to see them tolerated in RL...or with minors on-line. However I'd much rather see them between ADULTS in a virtual world than played out in RL. The entire concept of slavery is rather disgusting to me yet I see it ALL over the place in SL. Again it's between consenting adults, so I tolerate it in SL even though I'd not put up with it for a moment in RL. LL has stated any in-game info, like AV whereabouts, name/key data, activities, and such, are all public info. ALL. They wouldn't want to get in the way of bloggers and, as they told me, "world building" and such. So, why not publish, on the web, and advertise, an age play list? Seems to me it's fair game. You could put it out as, "Vendor Services for Age Play in SL!!!", provide the AV names and keys, approx. on/offline times, and so forth. All perfectly legit. LL has most definitely stated this is the case. So if you Age Play in SL, don't be surprised if it gets published for all the world to see, and LL gives the two thumbs up!!! And remember, you all enthusiastically agreed! After all, there is really no "privacy" in LL. More than one Linden has told me all info is public unless it compromises your RL info, like your real name, address, or CC number. People can scan your whereabouts, ALT-ZOOM into your buildings, or just sit on a cube and scoot through your security. Screenshot you going at it, and publish it. Blog it. Send it to friends, publish it on the Craigslist. Whatever. HAH. Go ahead Linden, whack this thread. * Flips waffle *. |
