From: Introvert Petunia What makes you think your information was any more "safe" in the hands of LL? Their sterling reputation for information security? Okay, sure. Actually, my experience has been exactly this (only without the eyerolling.) In two years of Second Life I have never had a Linden to divulge private information to me or about me.

OH! This reminds me! Since abuse reports are now read by residents, are they also subject to TOS/CS restrictions? It has always been permitted for a resident to divulge RL information or post private transcripts in an abuse report in order to give the Lindens the critical context they need. It's never been a problem before since the Lindens are professionals AND they usually have access to this information anyways! Now that ordinary residents are reading the Abuse Reports, is it now possible to find myself with a diciplinary smackdown after filing an AR? If so, this fact should now be clearly visible on the Abuse Report submission screen. Something to the effect of: From: someone Warning. This Abuse Report will be read by Second Life residents and is subject to the same rules that apply to public posting.
