My that sounds awfully definitive, yours is the final word and authority is it? Linden Liaisons do in fact respond to Live Help queries as quickly as possible, however not all Lindens in world are Liaisons and may not be in world for customer service issues (although most I've contacted do try to help regardless) therefore it'd be logical to presume that the best way to contact a Linden Liaison is via LiveHelp since that is the one channel that Liaisons monitor as opposed to going through find and looking up a random linden name whom may be a grid monkey or a programer and not a customer service grommet at all. So judging by the majority of the other posters yeah I'm fairly comfortable in the assertion that yours are (if even real) the rare exception not the rule.

maybe you get tired of the posts but maybe everyone does think that lindens do suck. If everyone is posting it then maybe that is saying something, people don't post for nothing.

It is uneducated, unrefined, and unkind to swear. It is revalatory of inferior upbringing(not necessarily meaning poor, some of the most well mannered people I have met in my life had so much less than others).

It is never ok to call someone a F**. Even at an affectionate level, it is still a demeaning word. I object to its use even by those who are homosexuals. The same applies to the N***** word (I apologize, I can not bring myself to write either one of these words out) for people who identify themselves as Black. Insert here your list of other derogatory labels and words.

While I have respect for people's right to say what they want amongst their friends, I also want to point out that it probably is not a good idea to refer to anyone, especially your friends with a label that in its original form represents a derogatory tone. You can not express love by using a negative term, that's like saying that you're feeding your baby by starving it.

It is not OK to cuss in Real Life, though the TV and mass media would have us believe otherwise.

It is NOT OK to cuss in SL.

WTF is cursing, just because it is an acronym does not mean it is no longer offensive. That's like saying LOL is not as much laughter as saying "laughing out loud".

We all have our moments with bad language, this is where thinking about what you're saying before you say it comes into place. Just because SL seems like a chat environment does not mean you can say anything you want.

Every society is based on community values, order, justice and above all love. You can not come into our world and claim you hold all freedoms possible in RL. This is not RL, this is SL. The first letter is different.

As for griefers and newbies with no regard for others, you're not at fault. Linden Labs welcomes more new free customers every day, it's their fault. If you give something away for free, it will never have any value. The newbies who come to my store and shoot me watermelons till I am a watermelon compote, the griefers in the sandbox who make the PG-no shooting sandbox a living hell: I think you all do what you were brought to this earth to do. I am starting to believe that disruption and destruction is built into the human gene and it seems to serve some purpose though I can not figure out exactly what. Blaming you is like blaming a scorpion for stinging you. Hello??? It is a scorpion.


But still like I always say, I love each and every one of you despite the fact that we've never met. So just take care of yourselves and at LEAST try to be nice to each other.

At the start of this thread, I sympathized with you. You have been offered suggestions on how to deal with it in the future. Now you just sound like a crybaby. There really is nothing anyone in this thread can do for you, and to develop an attitude against them is just stupid. You just admitted that you apologized to Adam. WHat did you apologize for? Sounds like an admission that you crossed the line.

I Live Help... the Lindens make it a habit of jumping into IM's about abuse taking place and usually end up going to where it's happening.

Yep thats how things are... I been here over a year and seen my share. Thats why i never leave the sim i live in. I never go anywhere. When i want to build something i built it in the sandbox that I in charge of the security of. When a griefer comes in i use the psyke's system to boot them out. Seems like the only way. Some of us don't come to SL to play with guns and treat it like World of Warcraft, some of use come here to socialize, and or run a business. Like i have said in the past, its like high school. A bully can literelly tear into you but when you fight back, your the one who gets suspended.
