Well, I always thought it was an adorable idea. Said so several times on the forums. Loved the tv episode it came from! Very witty idea.

My mother had just died the week before, as you know, so it was a pretty bleak time anyway. Then I perked up and thought, well, at least I get to see the cornfield!

When I found out I didn't, I was quite disappointed. I asked why in Second Life Answers, and was told the answer that it was reserved for white collar criminals, such as those who persist in selling objects in the welcome areas despite repeated warnings to stop.

Well said, Cocoanut, I am just curious about one thing. I have seen you mention the cornfield on more than one occasion - why are you so pissed off that you didn't get to go there?

Because she wants to and can't, and that pisses her off royaly

How odd, a forum offense is not a white collar crime? LL is so bizarre sometimes, truly. The way they handle the TOS and the forums is insane.

This is not me sticking up for a buddy, cuz I don't know Sensual (will I get punished for mentioning her by name? )... I'm just calling it like I see it...

...and what I see is that Sensual pointed out an inconsistency in what Linden Lab say and what Linden Lab do and apparently got suspended for 3 days?

Seems a little harsh, dontcha think?

Just sayin'

Prediction: After this thread is locked for Linden review with an appropriate CoS quote, I get suspended for naming names and starting a thread questioning her punishment

harsh yea, but its their world let them FK it up..

let them hack off enugh ppl with red tape and dubble talk, when some direct compentition comes out, their customer base will be like rats on a sinking ship.

IMO not the best plan when you aspire to be the next internet platform, but hey its not my money time or effort

Yes, but I put the "white collar" part in first, because I had asked [another well-known resident who got the cornfield for reporting an exploit he had found regarding vending machines and getting things out of them for free that he later gave back] why he got to see it, and he said he didn't know, he guessed it was he was because a white collar criminal.

So I asked about that, and the answer did say the white collar criminal part, and gave the selling items in the welcome area (or maybe it was the sandbox) repeatedly as an example.

I don't know. Made me nervous, too. Freaked me out, too, because nothing like it ever happened to me before. But I have taken the attitude that since there is little rhyme or reason to it, it probably doesn't mean your head is on the chopping block (unless they want it to mean that). There are probably people walking around with more than one suspension who are still here!

I don't have as much invested as you, but I'm not panicking and getting rid of any of it. If I did get the ax, well, c'est la vie, I'll just take the loss, and they will take their loss of my income. I think they still would like our income if we aren't too terrible!

I love how you interpret things to fit your need. But I do acknowledge your backtracking a bit :D

i am sure you have heard of the concept of feeding the troll

the troll analog in this case is the teen who breaks the no mature content in the teen grid rule , and is proud enough to post the picture on snapzilla

do not provide further reward them by republishing their pictures

do not post any pictures of mature content from the teen grid in here if you don't want to exacerbate the problem and get yourself suspended or have your account closed

if you are concerned about the problem contact the Lindens directly. this may not get your concern dealt with to your satisfaction, but it also won't get your account suspended or closed

if you just enjoy posting nude teen avatar pictures and don't want to get your account suspended or closed, do it somewhere other than the secondlife forums, and don't leave your avatar name there

the lesson to learn here, for those who can't figure it out, is not that linden lab is harsh or inconsitent or anything

the lesson to learn is that if you don't want to have your account closed, do not post mature content from the teen grid here, regardless of your motives

First of all I didnt relaise it was a problem until AFTER the thread was locked and I DID try to edit it and FIX the problem, but you can NOT edit a post in a locked thread, so thank you for your kindness and understanding in this issue!

First of all, my comments were made in the 2nd thread posted questioning why you were banned. I provided a reason, that being the possibility that it may have been ARed and brought to the attention of a ResMod. I did not object to your thread, nor did I AR it. Your 2nd thread was made to seek understanding of the action, wasn't it? That was what you claimed in seeking exemption from the "do not start a thread about having your thread closed" rule. So which is it; were you seeking understanding of the action or only wanting other people to be kind and understand you? Because the latter sounds more like the kind of thread which you weren't supposed to post.

Second, don't assume I am not understanding. In fact, I agree that the ResMod could have contacted you in PM to remove the pictures. You could have contacted him in PM for an explanation of his action, too.

Third, forum moderation is unjust. This is not news. It has been all the while I've been here and I am not shocked by it. However, my opinion is that telling LL to take it in the ass is far more offensive, not to mention embarassing to LL, than posting that picture. All my understanding and kindness in this regard isn't going to do you one bit of good because it's just my opinion and one for which I'd be considered bitter, jealous and out of control by some for expressing. Now, others would find it humorous rather than offensive as LL apparently does.
From: Blue Linden
...and here I thought, with that statement, that Siggy was flirting. :(

It's about interpretation and humor is a funny thing indeed. Which is why the moderation is not consistent; but I don't reccommend saying so.

Well, this is a scenario which Coco repeatedly brought up at the time the rules were changed to allow forum violations to lead to losing your ingame holdings but most people were sure that it wouldn't happen to them. Look at Coco's offense. Look at yours. That either of these situations would lead to being banned is - what's the right word for this? - humorous?

I am sorry this happened to you, Sensual. Being held accountable for a forum violation is like getting a speeding ticket. Everybody does it but that makes no difference when you get pulled over. That said, kicking someone out of SL because of cartoon nipples or for telling someone they can get fucked, (even LL), is fucking stupid.

That would be my definition of being a fucktard.

Jarod was recently suspended for posting Torley's job description. It's not safe to participate in these forums if you want to maintain access to the grid.

I dont know how I missed this post... are you serious???????

Do male nipples count? If a picture of a nude male chest was posted in the forums would the poster be suspended for three days?

I am totally sick of these inconsistencies. If anything Sens should have been invited to San Fran to participate in the SL royal secretive Bilderberg Rountable, but instead she is given a kick in the ass thank you for her long term contribution to SL.

I am on a laptop somewhere on the beach in Florida right now, can someone please post some nekkid male titties so we can see if this si just a sanction against female titties?

EQUAL PENALTY FOR NEKKID GUY TITTIES PLEASE!

That's just not right. If you are suspended, you should be told *why*. It's just common courtesy and also gives you the opportunity to make the same mistake again.

It's sorta like grounding your kids, but not telling them why they are grounded.

LL is so fanatical about privacy they don't even tell YOU what you did wrong. :(

I use this one when I feel insecure - I do that more today than before - - and if its lots of narrow minded ones around..

Its me and Deir in the pic - at our home in Irene (Otherland) - swimming in the fresh but some cold water. Of course we are naked.. by nature! Swimming and diving Script by Siggy!

No animals what with us and no one was hurt under the production.

/Tina - I made the black part by using an EXAKT pix setting 512*256.

I suspect if LL was located in someplace other than San Francisco things would be much different. There just HAS to be something in the water there.
