Questions:

One bright side to my recent suspension was the chance to go see the Cornfield.

I was not sent to any cornfield when I tried to log in. Instead, I got a message saying what day and time I could log in again. I tried several times.

Another resident, who has been to the Cornfield and spoke about it to the media, told me that was because, he thought, the Cornfield was just for "white collar criminals." (Which makes me wonder, if so, what kind of a criminal that makes me.)

So:

1. Has there ever been a cornfield?

2. Is there still a cornfield?

3. If so, why couldn't I go there?

Edit: Thank you for your answer Torley, I have long wondered. I guess that makes me a hard-core criminal, huh?

It was a hard week anyway, and I would have liked to have at least seen the cornfield, but I suppose a person has to purposely break the rules at least once to get that privilege.

Hello coco!

1. Yes, the cornfield exists.

2. Sure, still does!

3. It's not for all violations of the Community Standards, only certain ones; I suppose "white collar crime" is a flavorful figurative way to put it. An example of a disciplinary action that might get you there is repeatedly selling in the sandbox after being warned multiple times, although each instance of abuse is evaluated on a case-to-case basis and appeals should be sent to abuse@secondlife.com.
