Yanno, a friend told me once that the grid was attacked or something one Christmas holiday, or was it Thanksgiving? I dunno, I forget, she told me about it a long time ago. She said the Lindens gave up quite a bit of their holiday to try and get it all up and going good for everyone back then... where else you find folks like that?
Ya, we can be grumpy and complain, but what good does that do? It just gives us wrinkles! And not the good kind either *shudders at the thought of wrinkles on my widdle avie* Lets do the group hug again, I liked that!  _____________________

i agree..the lindens are busting ass on getting this fixed. i do think that repeating scrips like this should not be allowed. and they need to find the person and take some major legal action along with banning not only the account of the person..but the ip range of them but,, can they do that without limiting other scripts that are good? And it is possible that someone really did edit or do that and the one thats been accused is actually innocent... right? Just gullible enough to trust someone that gave him the object? I'd sure hate to see somoene thats not guilty being punished for a real accident. _____________________

They do now report these to the FBI for what it's worth. *rollseyes* Yeah, that'll solve the problem. Might as well run down to the nearest 7-11, go to the back, and tell the toilet. Might get further. The FBI won't do ***t about this sort of thing because it has no impact on them. As far as they are concnered, this is just a "game". Linden Labs would have to show financial loses in the hundreds of thousands of $US from an attack like this before any microscopic part of the justice system in this country would even look their way. Solving this problem is the sole responsibility of Linden Labs, because no FBI or Police type group is going to do anything about it other than fill out paperwork and feed LL a line of "we'll get right on it" bull***t. |

Kind of a dumb question really but i was wondering if servers for LindenLabs would indeed be in san fran? If so wouldnt the next big quake devistate that city? Has happened in the past 1906*AKA the great fire* I believe ,and some other date leaving the city in ruins
 i seen footage of rubble from each devistation just bieng thrown into the bay * expanding it* and even building on top of that.Thats just not to bright ..eh ? |
