What sucks more is the Lindens having to deal with this AGAIN. Do you think THEY like spending their Friday night dealing with some arsewipe doing this to their systems? Not bloody likely. You think you feel the frustrations? What about them? They're the ones that have to listen to this rubbish.

Yeah let's lighten up on the Lindens. I'm sure they they are working hard to get us all back in, and I'm sure they are more than aware of the inconvenience it causes. Meanwhile I'm going to fire up Ableton Live and catch up on making some music.

was going to slightly second this... i don't know that i may cause some kinds of trouble with particle systems, but that should all be client-side anyways, and not server-related...

hmmm, what good examples are there of object systems that truely need to excede, say, 1K, even -100- objects???

It's me. I broke SL when I finished the lightsaber I was constructing, which I happened to finish just before the grid crashed.

why cant you ban that little prick that keeps crashing the grid? I heard that it is because he is from canada.

What does being from Canada have to do with anything? We use IP addresses just like everyone else, and credit cards too.

Maybe they might have a tough time handing the guy over to the FBI, but they should be able to ban him, no matter where he is from.

hey when i pay $450 for a game i expect productivity, when the productivity is dismantled by a security leak you'd expect i would be firing a few people, now i dont give a **** about lag or slow downs but 3 2+ hour crashes at prim time in one week is a lil frustrating, have all the power to say what ever i want untill i pull all my funds out, then i dont have that right, so eat that

Look, as South Park teaches us, Canada can be blamed for any misfortune, big or small, regardless of whether the country is involved directly, indirectly, or even not really at all. ;)

I have to agree with that 100%. Lighten up. They work hard all the time to make the game good for all. Its a good sized program and its an awesome one as well. Ya, I miss it when I can't get in, but I'm not about to get down on the folks that are trying to do their best to make our sl experience a good one. Its not their fault that everyone isn't mature, responsible people.

Wasn't that "Blame Canada"?

So bummed. First night to not feel like I needed to figure stuff out and instead could DO stuff.

Hope my house isn't ruined.

Listen to Trinity Serpentine.

This has to suck for LL. =/

Ironically enough, I had to be called into work tonight (where I'm still at) to perform stupid emergency server maintenance, so let me tell you- I sympathize for LL too. I'm missing a concert and an awesome after-party so I can instead spend my Friday night rebuilding a stupid Citrix box. I'm sorry some stupid griefer had to screw up the start of your weekend, and best wishes for rectifying the problem in a speedy manner.

1. Log Guy Out
2. Kill His Login
3. Move All His DB Entries (Assets, Inventory, Owned Objects, Etc) To A Temp Space
4. Restart Grid
5. His Crap Is Gone. Let Him Log Back In (Along With Everyone Else)
6. Everyone Is Happy, Object Spammer Cries, Lindens Investigate Logs

Great idea Mike...how are you doing btw? Hope all is well dude...cheers.
