did the grid crash again?

Please keep it friendly here--obviously we all want to get back into Second Life, that's what we have in common. We want to make bad things better, not worse.

Currently still working on cleanup... some Lindens are within the grid, others are working on the behind-the-scenes systems.

I'll update as there's further info.

But I mean, as far as the people complaining about stability, if you think this is unstable, you don't know MMOs too well. SL is perhaps the most stable MMO I've ever played! Try how DAOC got sometimes, and for the love of God, Shadowbane ... O.O

There's no such thing as 100-percent stability with no crashes ever in an MMO, no matter how good it is. If you're going to invest in a virtual world, you do so either accepting this or in ignorance of it, but it's the reality either way.

You misread the original post. The poster said "IF" this was a free game, etc. etc. You have the same opinion!

It's okay, Charmande, you don't last ingame or on the forums by letting little people with ugly attitudes dissuade you from posting your own comments. If I let every little person upset me, I'd never have enjoyed my Second Life for as long as I have.

First off it isnt really a security leak more then some a$$hole abuse the very tools given to us. Which is something that happens in all counts of life rl and sl thats just the nature of life people abuse the rights given to them. Everyone would like a solution and im sure LL is working on one that wont completely nerf scriptin abilities cause that will cause more of an uproar then grid attacks. Who exsactly do you think they should fire for this. as i said this isnt someone hacking into a system and exposing it just someone mearly abusin the system given to them.


As far as someone stating about refunds most wont do refunds when the downtime is mearly in hours. once it becomes something that cause downtime for a 24hr period or more then refunds would be a logic solutions
