Grrrrrr, Phil, sorry 'Philip' arrived, and either I crashed or the sim did - can't get in now, anyone know what happened? I got to hear his introductory remarks, that was it. Right after he said "we have a protest here, and we appreciate and understand their protest", my sound started stuttering and the client crashed. Whatever he was saying must have been extremely powerful!  If anyone managed to stay online, I hope they captured the chat log. I was very interested in hearing what he and Robin had to say. _____________________

Rather ironic methinks that the freedom of "open registration" that Philip seem so in favour of is exactly why the grid has been crashed twice in less than 3 hours. Who cares about the consequences if you can't be caught for griefing? Just make another new account and you're back in 5 minutes to do it all over again. Lewis _____________________

Everything I've tried to do in connection with the birthday has been a disaster for me. Hope it gets better and the celebrations rock but it's getting too late for me to continue this crashing and logging in again

Just got in, TP'd to Brilliant, Sat down, and got overwhelmed with a huge multicolor torus ball thing.... and crashed again.
This is definitely an attack, not a server problem. The 3rd one tonight. |

Well I finally manage to log in, sit down, listen to Phillip say two sentences and then the screen is filled with a big swirly multicolored prim. Then the client/sim crashs. Aparently everytime some Asshat Griefer manages to log back in he brings the sim right down again. Just great!

Lewis The worrying thing is the more intelligent of the griefers will have already made several accounts and loaded them with their favored tools and such. that way they'd already have the accounts setup just in case the Lindens revert back to some sort of validation. |
